I Want You to Know

I WANT YOU TO KNOW 11/23/11

Now that I know the reason

There’s no more reason for this conflict to go on

Now that I’m connecting the pieces together

I think I have a chance to make this friendship last forever

Although I can’t figure out what I’m supposed to do

Please know that I’m doing this for you

You’re a very important person to me

You helped me change the bad stuff I used to be

I’ll never let these memories go to waste

Let’s not make so many decisions in such a haste

I don’t treat friendship like crap we could just throw away

Even though we keep on drifting farther every single day

But I can’t seem to approach you

Unlike how I used to carelessly do

This awkwardness between us is such a bother

I feel like the whole world is on my shoulders

How am I supposed to fix the problem?

When I don’t even know the problem

All these commotions are causing such a mayhem

Other people keep on judging but I just say “fuck them”

I know that you don’t care

But could you at least give me some time to spare?

I already said I'm sorry and admitted I was wrong

This cold war has been going on for too long

I don’t want to let go

I just want to let you know

I’m willing to fight for this

I don’t want us to just be a faded memory to be missed

Unless you really don’t want me back

Then fine, I won’t stay around, because patience is what I lack

Story behind this poem: this is for my college friend who's mad at me for reasonable reasons. i know it's my fault and i screwed up. But it's just so complicated, we don't talk to each other anymore and i miss her like hell. :( i just hope we'll fix our problem that's been going on for 2 months now.
