PAST BEST FRIEND
I remember the times when you’re always there
The moments we used to promise that we’re “Best friends forever”
When we used to spend countless hours on the phone
When we used to be the first to greet each other a “Happy birthday!”
When we used to give each other gifts
From my friendship rings to your friendship necklaces
My memories, our memories that I will forever cherish
Hoping you do too
Even though we slowly drift apart each day
Even though we have countless words left unsaid
Never forget our promise
We can’t erase our awesome childhood that we spent together
So you shall forever remain as my past best friend
