"Anna! Are you almost done?!" Dad called out

After 5 minutes, I swiftly changed and made myself look presentable.

"Joanna! What are you doing in there?!" Mom asked

I opened the door.

"Sorry mom, i got caught up in reading a book in the bath."

"Its okay, and i see that you're ready"

"Yes."

"Lets go you two!" We heard dad call out

Its tough being a teenager.

When we got there, i separated from my parents to go to the restroom. They told me the details before i left.

"I wonder what Mr. Gabriel Agreste would look like" mom pondered

"Oh mom, he's amazing. All his designs are top notched!"

"I see...well i'm glad you're happy about it"

"Of course"

I excused myself and went to the restroom. When i went out, i started running. There is NO way i am going to be late!

Its okay for me to run even in a wedge.

When i got to the door of our room, and was about to open it, i noticed another hand.

"Um..."

I turned to the side and looked up. There stood a blonde haired guy with green eyes.

"Oh sorry, ladies first." He stepped aside.

"...hmph" this is the guy from the school! Ugh!

I opened the door and saw that my parents are talking to Mr. Agreste, when they noticed us enter the door, they made us sit down.

The blonde boy sat beside Mr. Agreste, i sat beside mom, in front of him.

"Good evening Mr Agreste" i greeted

"Good evening Anna"

"Mr Agreste. This is Joanna Van Heusen, our daughter"

"And this is my son Adrien" he ushered to the boy

That's his son?! What the eff?!

"Pleased to meet you" i fake smiled

"Pleased to meet you too"

While the adults engaged in their conversation, me and Adrien ate in silence.

Well, that was until he spoke.

"S-so, where do you study?"

"School"

"......"

I wanna apologize for being sassy, but i just can't.

~(ADRIEN'S POV)~

I thought that Mr and Mrs Lancaster's daughter is just gonna be another troublesome fangirl but she isn't. Surprisingly.

When we bumped into each other by the door, she didn't even blush or stutter.

She remained calm and poised. Especially while dealing with my father.

I especially wasn't expecting her to be this pretty. She has long black hair and alluring blue eyes.

She let out a giggle. Even her giggle is nice to hear.

But sad to say...she thinks badly of me now. She only acts when the adults are watching.

"School."
