Chapter 4: Time To Stop The Act

Bella POV

I found it odd that Edward wasn't their this morning to come and take me to school like he usually does but last night probably didn't help.

I pulled into the school parking lot and noticed that the Volvo wasn't there, nor Rosalie's BMW or Emmett's jeep. I frowned. It wasn't sunny, so what was up? They where always here early before everyone else.

My curiosity went through the roof by the time lunch came and they still weren't there. I had a really bad feeling in my stomach and I really didn't like it.

Jessica annoyed me the who day about gossip crap going around the school that I could really give a crap about but, since none of the Cullen's were at school she swooped at the opportunity.

I went through the rest of the school day feeling sick to my stomach. By the time last period bell rang I practically sprinted out the door to my truck. I threw everything in and scrambled to start the truck. After it roared to life I speed toward home.

When I pulled up my house I knew what was going on. Edward was sitting on my porched still dressed in what he had on last night. I jumped out of my truck and threw my backpack on the porch near the door. Edward stood up and started walking toward the forest not looking back. I huffed in frustration. Here we go again.

I followed him and we stopped just at the edge of the forest behind my house, but just enough to not be seen by other people.

Edward turned and looked at me.

"Bella I'm leaving and this time, I won't be ever coming back. It was a mistake to come back at all and I see that now and last night showed how dangerous this just is. I'm sorry." He walked over and kissed my forehead.

I was about to say I don't give a crap and you can just freak off but he was gone when I looked up. That was fast.

That's great just great I thought as I threw my hands up in the air. I turned and walked back to my house. I was not going to try and find him AGAIN. I would not have the whole town looking for me AGAIN. I was not going to weep like a sick puppy for months AGAIN. I was just going to focus on what I had to work on now that the vampires were gone and out of my way.

I walked up stairs and lifted my bed up reveling a huge stock full of every weapon imaginable. Time to stop the act, I thought as I started grabbing.

Unknown POV

"Knowing their gone helps." Said a males voice. "But getting attached to them did not help you know? You were not supposed to interact, let alone let others than our kind live. Especially vampires our natural enemy. Your lucky I'm letting you live. You are my most best trained and skilled fighter, I can't afford to lose you. Especially at a time like this. Do you understand?" He turned around to the dark cloaked, dangerous figure who was wearing nothing but their special leather and was ready for combat with weapons included.

"Isabella."

I know it's short but I'm trying. Hoped you liked.
