How long?

Riley P.O.V.
Maya and Lucas have been gone for awhile.
I hope everything is ok with them.
Farkle still hasn't talked to me.
He won't even look at me.
I know him and Smackle are still together.
But they haven't talked to each other at all either.
Huh.
Farkle P.O.V.
Is it bad that I haven't talked or looked at Riley all day?
I just don't know what to say.
I'm supposed to be a genius.
But I don't even know my own feelings.
Do I like her?
I know she likes me.
Is there something there?
This is so much harder than science.
Everyone's P.O.V.
Mr. Matthews is trying to figure out something to say after Maya and Lucas left.
C-"Well, so I think that's enough of those papers today."
F-"Belgium 1831!"
The class laughs at Farkle.
C-"You will just not give up on that will you?"
F-"No I will not sir."
C-"Well I got nothing else so here it goes. Belgium 1831!"
F-"Oh my gosh. It's finally happening."
Just as Mr. Matthews begins the lesson Maya and Lucas walk in smiling, holding hands.
F-"Get out!!"(pointing to Maya and Lucas)
M-"Aww is someone mad?"
F-"Uh yeah!"
M-"Well too bad."
As always Zay interjects from the back of the class.
Z-"Oh just give it up!"
F-"Never!"
C-"Ok ok, calm down."
Bell rings to signal the end of class.
Everyone leaves, except Farkle.
C-"What do you want?"
F-"Belgium 1831, let's go!"
C-"Get out!"
F-"Never!"
C-"Ok."
Mr. Matthews leaves the room leaving Farkle alone.
F-"Huh. I did not see that coming."
After school at Topanga's
The gang is at there after school hang out place, Topanga's.
R-"So what happened with you guys today anyways?"(to Lucas and Maya)
Lucas and Maya are sitting by each other, real close.
Z-"Isn't it obvious? They're in love! Let em be happy."
All of them laugh.
R-(pats Zay on the shoulder)"You always know just what to say, don't ya buddy?"
Z-"Finally! I get some recognition for once!"
M-"He's right Riles. We made up and everything is peachy!"
R-"Aww Peaches, I'm happy for you guys!"
M-"Thanks Riles. Now you two(pointing to Farkle and Riley)need to do some talking and figure things out."
Both of then sit in silence, not knowing what to say.
F-"What? There's nothing we.... Uh we need to talk about."(says nervously)
Z-"Does anyone know where Smackle is?"
Everyone just looks at him.
L-"Yeah, where is she Farkle?"
F-"Why would I know?"
R-"Because she's your girlfriend."
Z-"They speak!"
F-"Oh yeah, Uh I don't know. Probably home doing homework."
M-"No. No. No. No. There's something your not telling us. Spill it!"
R-"Maya...."
L-"No Riley, she's right about this. Something you need to tell us buddy?"
F-"......Me and Smackle... I mean Smackle and I are um no longer in the more than friends zone."
M-"I knew it!"
L-"Maya!"
M-"Sorry, but I knew something was up. What did I tell ya?"
Riley, still not saying a word just sits there shocked, upset.
Maya notices Riley change in mood.
M-"Honey you ok?"
R-"How long?"
F-"What? It's not im--"
R-"How long?!"
L-"Well this has been a nice evening. But I'm afraid it's my time to leave."
M-"Right behind ya Ranger Rick."
Z-"Yeah me too. Gotta blast!"
Lucas, Maya, and Zay leave, leaving Farkle and Riley alone to figure things out.
