Chapter 21

Our last week in the Maldives was absolutely perfect, I kept checking my hand to make sure it was real and not all a dream. The cure seemed to be working on Stefan which was great, be hadn't changed once during our holiday.

We arrived back at my apartment at 3:30pm on the Saturday afternoon, Stefan carried my cases in as I opened the door, Sophie came running towards me,

"Hey guys, you have a good break" she asked hugging me,

"Yeah the best" I said lifting my hand to show her my ring, Sophie screamed and grabbed my hand jumping up and down,I jumped up and down with her excitedly.

"You did it then, congrats mate" Joe said shaking Stefan's hand,

"I don't want to loose her " Stefan replied, I looked at him and smiled, butterflies in my stomach,

"Congratulations Stefan" Sophie said kissing his cheek,

"Thanks Sophie" he answered, Joe came and hugged me and then whispered in my ear,

"You really are good for him you know" I smiled at him,

"We should go out and celebrate" Sophie said grabbing my hand again,

"we have only just got home Soph" I laughed,

"Come on, pleaassseeee, shower then let's go eat an then for drinks" she said with a pleading look on her face...

"ok, ok, enough" I said smiling,

"Yeessss" she yelled jumping up and punching the air above her head,

"Stefan" I called, he followed me into my room, I shut the door behind him and pushed him against the door, I gently kissed him on the lips,

"I've wanted to do that since we got off the plane" I smiled, he laughed,

"Go out with Sophie and have fun, I'm going to go home shower and ill come back here and wait for you to call for a lift and ill come and collect you both" he was so sweet, I kissed him again,

"I love you" I said wrapping my arms around his neck,

"I love you too" he kissed me gently, "Now go get ready" I groaned, I really didn't feel like going out, I wanted to stay home with Stefan, even after two weeks with him I couldn't get enough, I slowly turned away, his hand gently tapped my behind making me giggle,

"See you soon" he winked as he opened my door, I walked to my wardrobe and tried to decide on what to wear, I could hear him talking to Joe, then I heard the door close he had gone, I missed him already, I touched my lips where he had kissed me and smiled thinking of our time on holiday,

"What are you wearing" Sophie called from my bedroom door, interrupting my thoughts,

"I don't know, how about this" I held up a beige pencil skirt that sat just above my knee with a peach sleeveless blouse with my beige heels,

"Yeah that's cool Lizz looks lovely with your tan" she smiled and walked back out of my room, I placed the clothes on my bed and went to the bathroom for a shower.

I curled my hair and finished putting on my make up, I got dressed and looked in the mirror, not too bad, I turned and picked up my bag and phone off the bed and turned off the light. Joe and Sophie were in the living room, Sophie had a glass of wine in her hand,

"Lizzie you look great, doesn't she Joe" Sophie said picking up a glass off the side and handing it to me,

"I think I should be worried, you going out looking so beautiful" Stefan's voice came from behind me, I spun around
