Realization
My parents and I have come upon a key weapon for success. A plan to beat Darkness at his own game. After, thousands of tests we find out Darkness hates light. He not only hates it but won't go anywhere near it.
Since setting a nightlight in his favorite corner, two months ago, so much has changed. I'm back to my former self. I've been living as every teenager should. It's nice to be carefree again and not have to watch my back every second of the day. Darkness devotes his nights to lying in his corner, perhaps, speculating how we figured it out. I was nearing my end. Then, I beat him and pushed him back to square one again.
In my mind, Darkness has robbed me of something so irreplaceable. My childhood. Since the day I turned two years old he's been there, haunting me. It's nice to draw up the covers and get a good nights sleep.
Goodnight...
