Senri looked down at me, his blue eyes swirling with confusion and worry as he did. He held me for a while until calmed down enough to tell him what happened,
"I-I had a horrible nightmare."
I said softly as he held me close to him. I looked up and met his kind gaze,
"Wanna talk about it?"
He asked gently, stroking my hair. I nodded,
"I was here when I heard Zero calling for me but Kaname wouldn't let him see me. They started fighting. I tried to stop them but Hanabusa started to pull me away then Akatsuki stopped him saying that he had no right to me or something. They started fighting. Then you came up to me. You were trying to tell me something important but Takuma stopped you and you two started fighting. Everyone was fighting and getting hurt. Even Rido was there fighting Kaname. Then my brother said that it was all my fault that they would kill themselves because I wouldn't choose and that I was being selfish. I don't know what he was talking about but I don't want any of you to die."
I said with a shaky voice as he wiped a stray tear from my face, smiling at me,
"I'm not going anywhere Y/N, I promise. I will never leave you."
I looked up at him and smiled with relief,
"Really? You won't?"
He hugged me tightly,
"Really."
Senri gave me a soft peck on the lips before standing up and leaving, gently shutting the door behind him. I got up and started getting dressed, my nightmare plaguing my mind. I didn't exactly understand what it meant, but I knew I didn't want anything to happen to any of them. I definitely didn't want them to fight, especially over me. The gruesome images of their injured and torn bodies flooded my mind and I felt tears well in my eyes. I couldn't let any of them get hurt because of me. All of the vampires in the Moon Dorm meant the world to me as well as Rido and Zero. If any of them were injured or killed because of me, I'd never forgive myself for it. I knew I had to keep them safe from my brother, but I didn't exactly know how. I can't exactly send them to a safe house or lock them all in a box while I figure this out. Besides, I know I can't do this alone. If I want to take Alek down, I'm going to need all the help I can get from the people around me. I exited my room and heard angered voices from the common area downstairs. I quietly made my way down the hall and to the landing at the top of the staircase and looked down. I saw everyone else there already, glaring coldly at Kaname. The tension that hung in the air was suffocating as Takuma spoke up angrily,
"No I refuse to allow this. We won't put her through that."
Kaname sighed at the blonde vampire's statement before responding,
"I don't want this either but if it's the only way-"
"it can't be! There must be another way!"
Hanabusa exclaimed as I walked in, making my presence known as I spoke sarcastically,
"Well don't stop on my account, boys. Keep discussing my future without my permission."
I said as I sat down, figuring they were talking about me. They all shared uneasy glances that told me I was correct before Senri spoke up, filling me in on the conversation,
"Kaname thinks that it's possible to save you from your brother and kill him."
I looked to Kaname questioningly,
"Alright, but what's the catch?"
I asked, knowing it couldn't be simple. Kaname looked at me sadly,
"Your brother is very strong, as you know. Stronger than me. That being said, I found a way to kill him, but you must be the one to do it."
I shrugged indifferently at his comment,
"Okay. So?"
I asked, not yet seeing a problem. The pureblood shifted his feet uncomfortably before responding,
"So he drained your parents dry and he has the power of two very ancient purebloods, they're practically progenitors of the vampire line just as I am. If you go up against him with a blade forged by the light of a blood moon and blessed by a vampire Hunter who devoured his twin, you would have to stab him through the heart. The problem is that not only will it be impossible to get close to him, but if you stab him his body will spontaneously combust, taking out anything in or around it."
I once again shrugged,
"I'll just have to run for it."
I said casually as Kaname looked at me in shock,
"Do you understand that if you miss his heart--even by a millimeter--he will kill you!?"
I nodded in affirmation,
"Yeah, but if I don't do anything he'll kill me anyway. Might as well try and get him before he gets me, right?"
Kaname sighed in resignation,
"Are you sure you're okay with this?"
He asked me seriously. I nodded in confirmation and he sighed,
"Alright then. It's decided. We already have a blade and a Hunter. I just hope he knows the blessing."
Everyone's eyes were on me as I stood up,
"Well if this is settled, then I'm gonna go out. Be back in a few."
I said, wanting to escape the tension as Takuma jumped up,
"You can't be out by yourself, it's to dangerous! I'll go with you."
He said, though when our eyes met I saw desperation and panic in his green hues. I decided not to say anything and comply with his wishes,
"Okay, c'mon then."
I said as we exited the Moon Dorm, wondering why he looked so freaked out about following me outside. I cast him a glance, but he remained quiet as we began walking away from the Moon Dorm.
