It's Finally Over

"It surprises me to find you here, all alone, crying over the pathetic life you've built up." 

Alek's voice was like ice as he circled me proprietorially,  

"W-why are you here?" 

I asked, superficial fear lacing your voice as he smiled threateningly at me,  

"You know why I've come,"

He reached out to gently caress my cheek, 

"to kill you." 

My demeanor changed as I gripped his forearm and skillfully twisted it around, breaking the bone and causing a compound fracture. He grunted and hissed in pain, stumbling back as he snapped the bone back under his skin, blood oozing from the wound as he glared at me with pure fury,  

"You bitch! You'll pay for that!" 

He growled, rushing towards me only to have Takuma run past him, slicing the pureblood with his katana as he ran. Alek reeled back and moved to attack Takuma, but failed as Cross got in the way, blocking Alek's attack with ease. He stepped back before shouting, 

"Night class! To me!" 

I heard the sound of feet hitting grass as the night Class approached. Turning, I found Hanabusa, Akatsuki, and Senri behind me,  

"I'm sorry it's come to this, boys. I'll free you I promise."

Something flickered in their eyes but died out quickly before Senri spoke in a dead, stoic voice, 

"As are we." 

AS he finished speaking, Hanabusa sent icicles shooting directly for me. My eyes shot to them and they exploded into dust, falling to the ground. Akatsuki struck next, sending a fireball hurling towards me. I quickly dodged his attack, rolling to the left as a blood whip shot past me and pierced Akatsuki's shoulder. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Rido, rage filling his eyes as Zero appeared on my right and shot Hanabusa in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground in pain. Senri pricked his finger and sent a blood whip flying at Zero, who dodged it with ease and fired three shots at the maroon haired vampire, 

"Help Takuma! We'll deal with this!"

Zero shouted to me. I nodded and ran over to where Takuma and Cross were fighting my brother. Alek had thrown Cross behind him forcefully. I watched as the headmaster skidded towards me through the grass,

"I think I have an opening." 

I whispered as I helped him up, Cross handed me the syringe of blood and the dagger, looking at me with determination, 

"Then take it."

I ran up behind Alek, gaining speed as I went. When I reached him I jumped on his back and plunged the syringe into his left carotid artery, emptying the entire syringe into him. Alek cried out in pain, dropping Takuma who rushed off to help Cross. Alek fell to the ground as I stood over him, pulling the dagger out and seeing the enchantment pulse within it. I raised the dagger and brought it down over his heart. Right as it was about to pierce his flesh, a hand caught my wrist, stopping stopping me from killing him. I looked and--to my horror--saw Alek's eyes open,
