The story takes place the day after Lucas chooses Riley at school.

Zay: So Lucas has finally choosen between Riley and Maya huh?
Farkle:Yeah I guess we'll have to see what happens now.

Maya and Smackle go up to the boys at their lockers.
Maya: Hey guys whats up?
Zay: nm Hbu?
Farkle: yeah how you holding up after...?
Maya: Honestly?*smiles* I feel as if though there's nothing holding me back now like Im able to move forward with my love life Farkle:I'm very happy to hear that Maya
Riley and Lucas enter the school together.
Everyone: Hey guys
Lucas and Riley:Hi
*Bell rings and they go to class*
-Afterschool-
Farkle: so are we still going toTopanga's to study for midterms ?
Maya: yeah I could use the help
Zay:psh i can help you no problem
Smackle:may i remind you that if you don't pass midterms you'll get held back
Zay:fine I need help too
Smackle:Don't worry I believe that together we can find the best way to help you guys learn the material
Riley: Sorry guys but Lucas and I are going to the Library for a uh study um date
Lucas: bye guys *grabs Rileys hand nervously and they walk away*
Next day Saturday at the park
*Zay and Maya bump into each other*
Zay: hey Maya what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be hanging out with Riley or something?
Maya:I would but Riley and Lucas are hanging out together so they can become more comfortable with each other
Zay: well that makes sense...last time they rushed it and ended it pretty soon after that Maya: yeah well im just gonna continue my walk then see you at school
Both:bye on
-Monday-
*with the group except for Riley and Lucas afterschool*
Smackle:will riley and lucas be busy today aswell?
Maya: it seems to be that way apparently they will be hanging out together more and more
Farkle:are you okay with that?
Maya:yeah it's just things changed I guess
Zay: no they don't your still Rileys best friend
Maya: ik
Riley and Lucas hand in hand: hey guys
Group: Hi
Lucas: will we see you guys at Topangas?
Zay:sorry i have football practice
Farkle: yeah nd me and smackle have clubs
Lucas: what about you maya?
Maya: sorry guys but shawn,my mom and I are going out to eat tonight so..i cant
Riley: okay well maybe some other time then
