Getting My Friends Back(Part 1)

That night Lucas went home thinking of every possible solution but he wasn't sure any of them would work.It took hours but he soon thought of a plan.He knew this would prove how well he knows his friends.

The Next Day Lucas got up early and took the subway to around the area where thought Smackles house was. He looked and searched ,left no stone unturned but couldn't find it. It was winter and he was only wearing a sweater ,jeans and vans.He was freezing but he kept looking. It had taken him hours but after asking around for most of the day he arrived at smackles door.He knocked but passed out after that.

He awoke to find himself on the couch covered in blankets.

Smackle:good your awake ..no can you explain the meaning of this?

Lucas:thank you Smackle 

Smackle:you still haven't answered the question 

Lucas:Just hear me out

Smackle just sat on the couch and looked annoyed but its not like she could've kicked him out in these conditions.

Lucas:I dont get how we ended up like this. I mean for me its like no time has passed since we all hung out at Topangas and the Ski Lodge trip. Im mad at myself because Josh reminded me of you guys and we didn't stay together like we promised each other.  

Smackle:Lucas..

Lucas:I'm sorry smackle I really am

Smackle twidles her thumbs

Lucas:can you forgive me?

Smackle:Lucas I don't know its not that easy

Lucas:why not?

Smackle:so many things have happened 

Lucas:I understand you might not be able to forgive me right away..but could we start over?

Smackle stood and paced back and forth several times.The suspension was killing him.Alot was riding on her decision especially what he would do next. When she finally stopped pacing she look at him with saddened eyes.

Smackle:I will give you a chance but if you blow it then you will never bother me again okay?I don't want to get hurt

Lucas:Thank you Thank you won't regret it.

Smackle:well looks like your feeling better so you can leave now

Lucas thanks smackle again and as he walks to the door he calls out:friends do each other favors right?

Smackle:what do you want? 

Lucas:I need your help...

-The Next Day Afterschool-

Smackle:okay im here so whats up

Lucas:I need you to help me talk to the others...please

Smackle:i dont think thats such a good idea 

Lucas:aren't friends supposed to help each other out?

Smackle: ....i dont know how much help I'll be 24 hours ago i was against this

Lucas:so youll help me 

Smackle:....fine

Lucas walks toward his car with Smackle right behind him.Once they are both inside she asks where there going and Lucas responds with well you were phase 1 now we're on phase 2.They drove for at least 30 minutes until they finally stopped at a diner.

Smackle:what are we doing here?

Lucas:this is the popular hang out spot afterschool right 

 Smackle:yeah why

Lucas:you're about to find out 

Lucas push opens the door allowing Smackle to go in first. Smackle looks around but doesn't know why they're there.Lucas gestures to a table in the other corner where you could here girls giggling.

Smackle:ahh the flirt is phase 2?!?

Lucas nods and walks over to the table. When he gets there everyones eyes are on him and Smackle.

Zay:oh great your here ..oh hey Smackle

Smackle:hi zay

Lucas has a confused expression and zay excuses himself from the group of girls. They walk outside and lucas notices theres no tension between zay and smackle.

Zay:so why are you here?

Lucas:i came here hoping you'd give me a second chance 

Zay:why should I

Lucas:look..i get your mad me and you have every right to be.I wasn't there for you and that was wrong of me. I was a bad friend and I know its taken me a while to realize my mistakes.All I want is a shot to make it up to you.

Zay:hmm.why are you here smackle have yoi forgiven him?

Smackle:no...not at all actually...but I have decided to give him another shot 

Zay:why?

Smackle: because zay.."we would always be there for each other"remember when you said that the day I left..that was the last time I saw you or maya and I don't want to experience that feeling again

At this point Lucas looks defeated because of Smackles words. 

Lucas:like you said before I have no right and you've moved on ..all I'm asking is a chance zay..

Zay:.....I'll give it a shot..

Lucas:thanks man-

Zay:not for you for smackle smackle im sorry

Smackle:its okay zay*hugs*

Zay:smart move bringing smackle 

Lucas:that reminds me ..do you mind helping me out

-In Lucas' car-

Smackle:who's phase 3?

Lucas:idk i didn't think I'd make it this far, any suggestions 

Zay:well either way its going to be difficult 

Smackle:which one are you more prepared for?

Lucas:from past encounters ...i think farkle 

Zay:ooo...well he's probably going to the football game in an hour.

Lucas:ok then lets go

Lucas:do you guys see him

Zay:no lets just wait until after the game he has to leave at some point

They waited at the gate but even when the game was over they had no luck finding him.
