On Alexa's house
His dad was planning to have a party for Alexa's upcoming 18th birthday. He want it to be a grand celebration since it was his only daughter.
"Dad do we need to have this grand celebration?" - Alexa
"Of course my love, that was your special day, I want everything to be special, I want you to be happy after all you've been through" - Mr. Luke
"Okay I want Scott to be my escort." - Alexa
"In that case I would not agree, your escort would be Andrew." - Mr. Luke
"No! Dad it's my birthday! If you want me to be happy I want Scott to be my escort." - Alexa
"You will not be close to that guy anymore. He was a mess, he put your life in danger. He doesn't help you!!" - Mr. Like
"But dad!.." - Alexa
"No! You will follow me, you will forget that guy! I'm your dad so I will decide for you!" - Mr Luke
Then alexa run to her room crying. She knows that she can't change her dad's decision. She called Scott but Scott didn't answered.
She was worried about him. Worried about them.
On the hospital.
Scott was on the corner trying to hide himself. He want to check on Mark's condition. When marks parents left the room. He immediately sneak in to see Mark.
"Mark I'm sorry!.. Sorry for not believing, sorry if I got mad. Sorry if I didn't hear your apology. Sorry for all. I am really sorry. Please come back now." - Scott
Scott knew that any moment Mark parents may come back soon, so he didn't stay long and left.
Mark was still in coma, it's been a week since the incident happen.
Scott leave the hospital, he goes to the cemetery where his mother and father lies.
When he arrives he saw Britney, Britney visited her brother too. That was died because of cancer.
"Hey Scott how are you? Who's your visiting?" - Britney
"My parents," - Scott
"Missing them?" - Britney
"So much. I really miss them specially now, in times like this that I need them." - Scott
"I feel you, I miss my brother too. Why do people who were close to our lives need to leave us? Maybe it's God way to test our faith and he wants us to stand on our own." - Britney
"I don't think so. His doing this because he wanted to see us suffer!" - Scott
"Don't talk about that. Everything has its reason. He knows whats best for us" - Scott
"J don't believe in Him anymore since the day he get all of me." - Scott
"I understand where your pain is coming from but open your heart for some possibilities that something good will still happen. Like rainbow that appears after the rain" - Britney
Then Britney left Scott.
Scott's phone was ringing, it was Alexa he didn't answered it.
There was 20 missed calls from her. Then he realize they need closure. So he texted her and told her that they need to talk about something.
He told her that they should meet.
Hour passed it was past 7pm. Scott and Alexa meet on a restaurant.
"I was worried, I've been calling you so many times! What's happening to you?"- Alexa
" I'm tired, I don't want to see you now Alexa, let's stop seeing each other" - Scott
"Scott why?!" -Alexa
"Because I don't want you to expect that I will love you back. I don't like you alexa" - Scott
"I don't believe in you. Scott enough of this silly jokes" - Alexa
"But it's true! Stay away from me!" - Scott
"No! I love you and I can see it in your eyes that you feel the same way! If it's about dad let's face it together." - Alexa
"It's not about your dad alexa, don't you get it? I am sicked when you near me, I am irritated seeing you. Believe me! I don't like you, I am in love with somebody else!," - Scott
"Your lying!" - Alexa
"I'm not lying Alexa, it's the truth. Believe me!" - Scott
"I will not! Stop lying your hurting me now!" - Alexa
"It's better to be hurt now than been hurt for a long time" - Scott
"Fuck! Why?! Why are you doing this to me! I can't take it anymore Scott, I came because I want you to be my escort but then you hurt me! So this is your birthday present?! Well thanks Scott you surprised me!" - Alexa
Then Alexa slapped Scott on his face. And left him with tears.
"Sorry Alexa, I starting to love you, but it's the only way to stay you out of danger. In time you will understand that I've done this to protect you." Scott
They were both in pain.
