^Eliza Taylor as Clarke Griffin

Lexa was still knocked out. Monty looked over at her. Not being able to hear her last words. He could see blood on her face. He hurt. He hurt all over. His hand went up to his head. Monty pulled his hand away to find his fingers covered in blood. When he looked over, he could see Lexa's eyes closed.

"Lex. Lex! Wake up. Please. I can't have you die on me." He couldn't reach other to nudge her.

The car was flipped over. The two were hanging upside down. Monty continued to drift in and out of consciousness. He was shook when there was a bang on the door. A firefighter. They are here to rescue them. The firefighter pulled him out of the car. Monty turned his head to see the car crushed and flipped.

"Lexa..." He mumbled.

"We'll get her." The firefight looked down at Monty, "Jace, get that girl ."

Jace nodded and went to retrieve Lexa. When he came up, he called over two other guys. They couldn't seem to get her out. Monty understood this and started crying. Partially from shock and the fact Lexa could die. Monty started to sob. He couldn't handle it; he passed out.

Monty woke up to bright lights. He was blinded. He could smell that hospital disinfectant.

"Lexa?" He murmured.

"I'm sorry son. She's not here yet. She's still on the field. They're trying to rescue her." The doctor sounded disoriented.

"I should've never picked her up. I should've never turned on that radio. I should've never..." He drifted off mumbling.

The doctor looked down at him. He didn't say anything. Just looked at him with pity.

"Alright everyone, let's get him into surgery pronto. Internal bleeding and something in his side." The doctor shouted, "and someone should find that girl."

Monty was wheeled down to an O.R. The anesthesiologist put him under. The doctor came in and began the surgery. All was well, until they reached the object in his body. It was right between a major artery and organ.

"We can either risk taking it out and getting it out safely or it will kill him." The doctor was talking to himself.

He decided to try to take it out. He knew he couldn't get this wrong. Slowly, he pulled the wire out. It came out successfully until Monty started coding.

"Charge to 20!" He shouted.

"Charge to 40!" He shouted again, "We got a pulse!"

He sighed in relief. Once he stitched Monty up, he left the nurses to finish it. When Monty awoke, he felt something weird. A tube in his throat. His eyes grew wide and started to panic. He reached for the tube until a nurse stopped him.

"It's okay. You need to leave it in. This will help you. Don't speak." She checked the tube.

"Mhm." He hummed.

"You're okay. I promise." She grabbed him a piece of paper in case he would want to write.

He did write. He wrote:
Do you know if a girl came in?
It was hard to read and scribbly.

"I do. She's in surgery right now. We called your emergency contact: Jasper Jordan. He was breaking down. But said he is going to bring some people." She touched his hand.

Monty nodded, knowing that Lexa was at least in surgery. He didn't know what to think and was exhausted. Slowly, he dozed off until he woke to find Jasper, Bellamy, Clarke, Raven, Octavia, and Lincoln.

"Hey. Bro, you scared me." Jasper tried to hug him.

Bellamy put his hand gently on Monty's shoulder. Clarke smiled at him holding a baby? Octavia stood there with Lincoln smiling at him. Lincoln just stood there with a concerned face. Raven was in the corner with tear stains and puffy face. Monty motioned at Raven. She walked up and gently hugged him. Clarke looked hesitantly at him, questioning whether to ask him about Lexa. He nodded knowing what she was going to ask.

"How's Lexa?" Clarke asked quietly.

Monty pointed at the paper. Jasper handed it to him.

She is in surgery. She at least made it out alive.

Clarke sighed in relief, "Don't worry. I don't blame you for what happened."

Monty sighed silently in his head. He knew Clarke would never forgive him if something happened to Lexa. Jasper, being his best friend, could see this sigh and asked if he and Monty could have a little time together. They all left quietly.

"Dude. You scared the living day lights out of me. When I got that call... I thought you died. Man. I know Harper would have wanted to be here but she's still at school. She's trying to get a flight over as soon as possible." Jasper was crying.

Monty out his hand on Jasper's. They sent a silent exchange that Monty was okay and thankful. Jasper sat in the chair until the nurse came in to tell him Monty needed sleep. Jasper never once left Monty's side.
