My eyes slowly flutter open and I smile seeing my girlfriends bare body against mine, these are the days I really enjoy waking up feeling happy with my life. I'm glad I've ended up with Katniss, she's taken my pain away since she agreed to dance with me at the bar, the pain about Delly and Gale is all gone and I feel nothing but love for my girl. Today is also the day that Katniss will be meeting my family for the first time, I've told her that I have a mom and dad, two sisters and two brothers, Rye is the oldest then Jay then me then my sister Marry and then my sister Chelsea, since I called mom we've been talking more on the phone and with dad as well, they're all happy that I'm coming down today which is 4th of July but Katniss is nervous at meeting my parents and I keep telling her not to, they'll all love her. I know it.
I carefully get out of bed and get dressed for the day quietly and make my way downstairs and get a bowl of cereal Froot Loops my favourite cereal since I was four. I'm really excited to see my family and just have fun. As I continue to eat Katniss comes down in one of my shirts which only goes to mid thigh which makes her even more flawless
"Morning beautiful" I greet as she hugs me yawning and I wrap my arms around her
"Morning" she sighs and brakes away to get breakfast
"So the plan is to leave in about twenty minutes. How does that sound?" I ask as she fills her bowl with cereal
"Yeah. That sounds good" she replies, I hope she doesn't get too nervous cause I want her to have fun and like my family.

We finally pull up to my parents home seeing cars parked, feels good to be seeing the family again, I look across from me and see Katniss bobbing her knee and biting her lip, two things she does when she's nervous
