_The Next Day_
I wake up before Katniss and I chuckle at how in her sleep she managed to be on top of me, her warm breath on my neck as she sleeps like a puppy, well yesterday's dinner was extremely quiet mostly because her father was eyeing my every move which was kind of creepy but it sucked cause I wasn't allowed to have my hand on her thigh or he'd 'cough' or glare at me or something but after everyone was distracted she pulled me into the bathroom were we made out for a few minutes, we always find a way.
I manage to slide Katniss softly off me and get up and walk downstairs to see Sarah and Prim awake, Prim is watching TV with her cat and Sarah is making herself a coffee
"Morning Peeta. How did you sleep?" Sarah asks
"Very well thank you" I thank and she smiles
"Would you like a coffee?" She asks
"Yes please" I reply and she smiles
"So how'd you meet Katniss?" She asks and by now Prim has come in
"Okay. So I was at a bar because I would move place to place and I was spending my last night there and I looked across the bar and she was dressed in red and was the most beautiful person I've seen, so I introduced myself and we talked than when everyone left we danced... It was the best night of my life and then she left but I had no contact and then a little while later we met again, she was working for my Aunty in designing and came over for dinner and we kind of just left off from there" I explain and by the middle Katniss had already come in and was smiling and she comes over and hugs me and I rub my arm, I see her mom smile as she sees her daughter happy (I hope) with someone and I'm glad I make her happy, I kiss the top of her head as she still hugs me and I smile
"You want a coffee sweetheart? It'll wake you up" Sarah suggests and Katniss brakes away nodding
"If only there were two of me! Then I could make coffees and make breakfast all at once" her mother laughs and I smile
"I'll make breakfast" I state
"Oh no honey. It's alright I'll make it after I've finished this" Sarah says
"No Sarah I insist. After you do that last coffee go sit down and relax" I say as she finishes the last coffee
"Katniss my girl, you have a keeper" her mother says walking into the lounge and I start making breakfast.
