I will admit that, after the performance, everyone had a mutual agreement to go to sleep. Mika just rolled onto my bunk, opening his arms and encasing me in a hug, legs encasing me as well. He then gave me the longest kiss possible.

We may be free, but the story has yet to come to a close.

"So, bad news."  Asuramaru announced the next morning, hauling himself into the truck as Colette inspected the spots on Lola where she got skin transplants. From who, I couldn't tell. But it was impossible to tell.
"Well, worst case scenario, is more like it." Krul pointed out. He stuck his tongue out at her.

"Spit it out, you two." Ferid exasperatedly sighed from high above. He was sitting on the roof of the truck, his head now dangling from the sky light.

"Apollo found an escape route. We have no clue where he is." She said. Colette looked terrified.
"But, don't worry, he's human. We'll find him if we have to search the entire world." Her brother reassured us.

"Wouldn't that take years to do?" Lola curiously asked. They paused, looking at each other with mirrored Crimson eyes.
"Well, we don't age. I'm sure we'll be fine." He shrugged.

"How come you never told me you were immortal!" Mika and I cried out in unison, glaring at each other for, once again, having the same thought.

"We forgot." They said casually. "But, you guys all have flights home." Krul announced.
"Colette, since you don't remember where you lived and we don't know either, you're going with this cuddly couple." Asuramaru said, clapping us on our shoulders.
"So... I can go back to California?" Lola asked, eyes shining. They nodded and she squealed. Ferid gave a slow thumbs up that was upside down.

"Your flights are taking off in an hour, so I expect you guys to be ready in time, since I'm certain no one but Ferid knows where the airport is." Krul said like a stern mother.
"Aye aye captain!" Everyone said although it got jumbled together.

"This doesn't feel real." Mika sighed, shoving our clothes into a plastic bag. Lola was sobbing over her dresses while Colette shoved her most expensive clothing into a suitcase, which we all knew instantly was Apollo's. No one questioned it. Or how Asuramaru and Krul got us plane tickets. Didn't quite care, honestly. We were going home and no one was stopping us. Especially Mika.

Colette had gathered a nice collection of shoes, makeup, and painting supplies into two suitcases, and, being the kind soul she was, put my laptop in with it. Every one had a freakout of finding their passports, before we were informed it was unnecessary, as the French government was aware of our issue and had alerted the American government.

We basically had a free pass for immigration.

Colette was the most relieved about this, considering she didn't know much information about herself.

"I know it doesn't feel real. I'm having a hard time with that too. I mean, in the past twenty four hours we beat up the Ringleader, heard his name, the voices in our heads got their bodies back, we just got surgery to return to humanity, and the Ringleader ran away." I said.
"He didn't want any of you to know his name. Said that that his name was too specific and that it could get him discovered. He may be a coward but he isn't an idiot." Colette said, zipping up her suitcase.
"I mean you basically hold ultimate power if you have his full name. It's oddly specific." Ferid pointed out.
"Wait you know his last name?" Mika and Colette asked in shock.

"...yes." He said slowly. Asuramaru jumped through the open truck door.

"Alright, you miserable fucks. Ready to bolt?" He asked.
"Obviously." I sighed. He stared at the murals Colette had made. She followed his gaze, taking black paint from one of her cases, dumping it over the Ringleader's small figure. He cracked a smile. It wasn't malicious like usual. Asuramaru actually gave a kindhearted smile.

"Much better."

"So, this is the end of the road." Krul sighed, facing us. Lola had just departed, hugging all of us tightly, racing off with two security guards assigned to make sure she didn't do anything wrong or get captured again desperately chasing after her. It was really entertaining. Ferid had just... Disappeared. Mika was getting emotional, Colette rubbing his back. He hugged Krul tightly, both of them sharing quiet words. I fist pumped Asuramaru.
"You better get some of him to repay me. I don't just do whatever someone asks of me." He said jokingly. Actually, I don't think he was joking.

"I'll try." Colette was looking at us with concern. The demon held a finger to his mouth, smirking with a quick wink.
"You didn't hear anything, Hyde."
She laughed lightly, a sound that rang like bells in everyone's ears.

"Okay, sure."

Krul pulled away from Mika. They shared a long look.
"I didn't know." He muttered.
"It's fine. I've learned to not listen to what they've got to say. You haven't lived long enough to learn how to do that." She said, shaking her head.

"Give him hell for me, Krul."

"Oh trust me, we're far less merciful than you are." She smiled.

We have our farewells.

It kinda hurt having to leave them behind. I had grown rather attached to the demon who had taken home in my mind. I couldn't imagine how hard it was for Mika, since Krul seemed far more likable.

So, we boarded the plane with Colette, and the long flight home began.

Mika refused to sleep, looking out the window with some sort of awe, his hand clasping mine. Colette was already out, a hand mirror gripped tightly in her hand, placed on her lap.

"Yuu, I really love you. You know that?" He sighed dreamily, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Of course I know. You show it through actions, though." I pointed out. He hummed as if taking it into account.

"You saved me, though. I wanted to thank you for that. I was worried that you would've forgotten about me. When everything I did was for you. It was killing me." He mumbled.
"How could I forget you? Mika, you're wonderful. You're unforgettable to anyone, I'm sure. Even if for some time it was through fear. I'm sure there's been many people who still think about that beautiful boy from the circus who chilled everyone to the bone." I nudged him. He turned a bright red.

"You think I'm beautiful?"

I laughed. His blush grew a deeper shade.

"Of course I think that you're gorgeous. You're my everything."

He became my very flustered and extremely cute boyfriend, smiling. There weren't any fangs blocking his beautiful smile. His eyes crinkled as he covered his mouth with high levels of embarrassment. I could still see him grinning.

"Oh, right, we're taking you to your mom when we land." I mentioned.

His joy seemed to skyrocket, eyes shining with a new excitement. He was adorable. Like a child on Christmas.

It made me anxious to land in Boston and show him everything he's missed over the years.

To show him what happened in my life without him.

Both good and bad.

Unfortunately.
