"Bruh, that's not fair," I whined. I was currently getting beat by Trent at foosball.

Eventually, he won.

"I told you, I never lose a game," he said.

"Wow, cocky much?" I said.

"Not really," he said. "Ion gloat a lot."

I nodded sarcastically.

"So, what you wanna do now?"

"Go get food!" I squealed.

"Ight what you want?"

"Not from here! Ew, no!" I said.

He laughed. "Then what you want?"

"Um, Checkers?" I asked smiling.

"Are you serious?"

"As ever," I said.

"Ight, let's go," he said, sighing.

We got our food and ate in the parking lot.

He stole one of my fries. I looked at him.

"Put it back," I said.

"If you want me to," he said, putting his hands around his throat.

"Eww! No! That's nasty!" I said, laughing.

"You wanted it back, so I was about to give it to you," he said.

"You weird af."

"Naw, that's all you."

"Whatever," I said.

We sat and ate for a while, until a question popped into my head. It was awkward, but I'm curious.

"Do you date?" I asked.

He looked at me. "I'm pretty sure everybody does."

"No I'm saying, have you ever been in a relationship? Like a serious one?"

"Yeah, I have. I'm usually the one who puts my heart and soul into relationships, but not lately," he said.

"Why not?"

"You real curious, huh?" He asked, smirking.

"Just a question."

"The last relationship I was in, it was all fun and games at the beginning. Then, she started cheating, so I just said fuck it. I'm done. I aint been in a relationship since then, and that was two years ago."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Naw, you good."

I just kept my head down because i been through something similar.

"You good?"

"Yeah just, kinda been through the same situation," I said.

"Oh, what happen?"

"Same thing really. But he mostly pressured me to, you know. And I didn't want to so he started Playin games, and he eventually dumbed me," I said. Then I let out a heavy sigh.

"Damn, that's fucked up."

I nodded.

"This why you can't take a relationship seriously in this generation. Don't nobody know how to be loyal," I said.

"Yeah. But honestly it's fuck whoever wanna play games. I'm just looking for a real relationship, with the right girl."

"Me too. But minis the girl part, I like boys," I said. He laughed.
