PROLOGUE:
My name is Jack H. Griffin, 37 years old.
I was just an average man, who lives a normal life with his family and works as an architect.
But everything changed.
The year was 2056.
September 21, 2056 to be exact. Just three months before Christmas.
Scientists tried to develop a drug that can heal man from cancer and be immunized from many other common diseases, making our lives a bit longer.
A small miscalculation in the process sent the world into a Global Warfare. An oversight that lead to a worldwide scare. That one mistake that led to a nightmare.
A virus spread quickly and infected most of humankind. Turning the most of us into zombie-like flesh-eating creatures. I was in the middle of an unusual virus outbreak.
This is my worst nightmare.

• The times within the story are in 24-Hour / military time format.
• All of the chapters in Jack's perspective are written in his diary/journal.
• The chapters by Jack are written as if they are happening at the moment but in reality, they have occurred in some time earlier.
• Updates once every two months.
