The only civilian death out of hundreds.
I would be sad if anyone died, but, God, why did it have to be him?
"I can't live without you, y'know?" He had said. "You're my best friend."
In my head, I had thought, I think of you more than that.
"I can't live without you, (Y/N)."
Now saying upon his grave... It brings a bitter taste to my mouth.
"I know that." He would've said.
Standing at his grave wreathed with flowers, I feel regret.
Regret that I never got to say "Goodbye" one last time.
Regret that our last meeting had ended in an argument.
Regret that he had died.
Regret that I wasn't there to save him.
Regret that I never had the guts to confess.
Regret that I never got to say "I love you."
Regret that I wasn't there to hear him say just four words back.
"I love you too."
