« Third Persons POV »

The moment Gray slammed his warm lips to (Y/n)'s chapped ones, the (h/c)-haired girl's eyes turned into saucers.

After a few seconds, he parted and put his arms on the back of his neck, chuckling.

Before the (h/c)-haired girl can even say a word, Gray softly place his index finger on her lips and smiled softly. "Shhh." He mumbled.

(Y/n) stared at him with utter confusion, why did he kissed her?

He leaned over her petite form with a sheepish smile, "I fancy you. . . (Y/n)." And before she can even react to his confession, Gray raised his free hand in an impulse and formed a gesture that was complicated to (Y/n)'s eyes.

It was sort of a greek symbol—damn it. This is hella confusing.

The symbol wrapped all over her body like it's sucking her memories today.

"I like you. . ." He whispered once more and before she even knew it, she blacked out.

[TIME SKIP]

"Gray!" (Y/n) yelled with frustration.

"What?" Gray popped out of nowhere, a popcorn on hand.

"You—You imbecile!" She spat as she purse her lips into a thin line.

"What did I do now?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

"You freaking eat my (favorite food)!"

"My (favorite food)? Huh. Last time I checked, I paid all the bills." He explained as he give her a cheeky grin.

"Oh, so you're telling me that I need to find some money to buy my own expenses?" She emphasized.

"If it fits a shoe." He shrugged.

While the (e/c)-eyed girl was ranting some nonsense and forming unladylike gestures here and there he couldn't help but gazed at her with regret, he wants her to know his secret, but it was forbidden.

It's like he's a poisonous substance that shouldn't be swallowed.

A soft wind brush his cheek and he instantly knew who it was.
'A mortal like her shouldn't know such existence.'

' I know.' He whispered inaudibly, still gazing at (Y/n) with a tiny smile.

(Y/n) finally stopped blabbering when she saw Gray smiling at her.
"Why are you even smiling?" She asked accusatively while crossing her arms.

"None of your business." He answered smugly as he walk towards her. The moment he did so, (Y/n) instantly backed away.

"What do you think you are doing?" She stuttered.

Gray didn't answer and managed to corner her, "You know what I'm doing." He whispered as he slam his calloused palm on the cement.

(Y/n) instantly gulped, "If you're trying to make fun of me, it's not going to happen, I'm gonna kill you right away." She threatened as she gave him a glare.

Gray seemed unfazed at (y/n)'s scary threat, he chuckled and lean over towards her with a tiny smile.
"You're so. . ." He left the last word hanging making (Y/n)'s ears perk up.

"I'm what? Beautiful? I know right." She spoke as she looked away.

"Beautiful?" He asked with such smugness.

This jerk was made to make me angry all the damn time. She thought and clenched her fist.

"Yes. I'm beautiful." She answered with convection.

Gray couldn't help but snort at her confidence.

He grabbed a plastic bag that was hiding on his checkered shirt and backed a few steps away.

(Y/n) sighed with relief but her thoughts averted towards the white plastic Gray was holding, before she can even ask him what the freaking thing was it, he tossed her the pack of Reese's bundle up in it.

"You're too cocky for your own good." He spoke.

She just gave out a light chortle upon hearing his comment and the moment her gaze went down to the goody, her eyes lit up.

"Are you giving this to me?" She asked uneasily. He knew she has love with Reese's! (If you don't like Reese's, change it to any king of chocolate you like)

"No, I was giving it to a cat." He sarcastically answered in which earned him a glare from the girl in front of him. "Of course I'm giving it to you, silly." He continued smiling and ruffled her soft hair.

She mumbled a thank you and began opening the goody.

He chuckled and spun his heel around and picking up his car keys, "I'm off, I'm going somewhere." He explained, putting his palms on his pockets but before doing so, he waved at her.

"Okay." She answered absentmindedly and began to open one of the chocolate.

When he was on the edge of the doorway, he cautiously glance at the cuteness of his Dulcet and smiled satisfyingly.

How cute can she be?

"(Y/n). . ." He called out.

"What?" She asked as she licked her fingers that's now full of dripping chocolate.

"What you said was true." He continued.

(Y/n)'s brows instantly knit together. "What are you talking about?" She asked with uncertainty, he was muttering nonsense the moment she woke up late this afternoon.

"You maybe cocky but you really are beautiful."
