Her Dark Heart (Rouge x Reader)

Part 24

You were still trying to heal yourself with the shadows painfully going into your skin. Rogue and the others were all surrounded in different place and some guard came towards you. Then creatures made of shadows protected you and fought them off as long as possible, they were soon destroyed and the guards tried to touch you. When they did, they got blown back and then one of them  got knocked out.  Then one of them grabbed you and pulled you out of the shadows resulting in an ear piercing scream coming from your mouth. The man held a knife to your heart and was about to strike if it weren't for your old exceed, Call. Call was your exceed before he ran away because he got scared of a monster and was too afraid to hold his ground. You looked at him before whispering and pulling him into a hug. "Call" you said quietly, "See? I am brave" he said while smiling, "I never said you weren't" you said as he closed his eyes. He had died, now you wanted to rip the thoughts out of the guards who caused his death.
