"It's Sting Eucliffe!"

"Oh my god, he so beautiful"

"Ugh I wish I was sitting there eating with him"

"Lector is so cute!"

I sat there listening to the many Ooo-s and Aaah-s as we finally made it into the town of Peace Village.

Sting sitting here relishing in the fact that he was almost like a celebrity.

"Wow, Sting Eucliffe from Sabertooth. I just wanted to say I'm a big fan" - an waitress, at the small diner we had stopped at, sings, dancing over to our table lovingly. "What you did for all those kids in Mount Hokebe was so honest and caring."

"Thanks" - Sting answered with a smug smirk on his face, every five seconds when he gets a compliment, Sting just glances my way as if to rub it in my face... "did you hear that Ai-chan"

"Stop calling me that"

I sat across from him with both my arms crossed just giving him the look that screamed "shut up before I make you"

"So anyways what would you guys like to eat?"

"An order of fried catfish for lector and for me...well, how about you surprise me" - Sting stated flashing her a flirty smile which I can tell only makes her melt

God, someone please gag me...

"Oh um...and for you ma'am" - she asked turning to look at me

"She's not hungry" - Sting answered me

"I told you already, we're on a job. We shouldn't even be wasting time sight-seeing" - I lectured which only makes him sigh

"This is hardly sight-seeing Ai"

"Stop calling me that"

"How about you loosen up a little bit ok?" - he advises "go with the flow, the job isn't gonna go anywhere just because we stopped by to get breakfast"

"PST...Hey Sting-kun" - Lector whispered but honestly I didn't know why he did because I could still hear him "I think we should bail on her, she's dead weight and she'll just slow us down"

"Hm, I see ya' know, you might be right Lector" - Sting snickers immaturely

"I can hear you two" - I snapped

This is exactly why I never work with anyone....

"Relax I'm just joking" - he reassures me just as the waiter comes out and brings out a beautiful banquet of food for Sting and Lector.

The sad part was at the end of it, they didn't even have to pay for their meal.

"Wait?! Where are you going?! The job is this way!" - I protested as the two of them walk down a different path

"I wanna check something out, it's important" - Sting shrugs nonchalantly but when we actually get to the place it's just some stupid novelty shop.

"Are you kidding me right now.." - I spat at him "this is what's important?!"

"God you're so cute when you're mad...I wonder why nobody ever wants to works with you" - Sting replies sarcastically

"For your information I prefer to work alone" - I retorted back. Sting just rolls his eyes and walks past me into the store but I just block the way "No! No way! You are NOT going to freaking waste anymore time"

"Well I heard Sabertooth was coming into town but I didn't know they would send out their most handsomest dragon slayer!" - an older lady cooed walking over to us

"Did you hear that Ai" - Sting snickers with a devilish smirk

"Stop calling me that" - I barked at him

"She's a little nervous" - Sting lies putting a hand over his face as if to fake whisper

"Oh I see" - the lady giggles

"Ok, you know wha....." - I started angrily only to get cut off by Sting

"So do you own this shop?" - he asks her shoving past me

"Yes I do actually! My name is Isis, we sell real magic keys for celestial mages, easy beginner spells and organic potions of all sorts. I can even make you on right in the store today!" - she says excitedly while he follows her around the store

I feel like he's doing this on purpose...

JUST TO WASTE TIME

Does he do this to Rogue?! I mean seriously what the hell?

Half and hour later and he still standing there listening to this little old lady talk about potions. That's also how I know he is doing this on purpose because Sting Eucliffe never listens.

"Look we should really get going" - I say walking over to him just as Isis disappeared behind the back to grab Sting some useless samples of potions that he probably doesn't care about

"For what?" - he asks cluelessly

"Sting we are on a job, this isn't some vacation"

"Oh, trust me I know this isn't a vacation. If it was, you wouldn't be here"

"Are you always this unbearable to deal with?"

"Funny, I was just thinking the same thing" - he laughs

Annoyed I attempted to drag him out of the store only to bump into Isis or well her homemade potion. The mixture spilling on both and Sting and I.

-----------------

I can't believe I just did that.

"That was pretty smooth" - Sting snickers striding behind me

"Can you please just shut it okay?" - I snapped "none of that would have happened if you would have just stuck to the damn job"

"Well how do you know that I wasn't actually working?" - he stated

"The job flyer says we're requested by the mayor so I highly doubt some stupid magic shop has your answers"

Sting just laughs which only makes me annoyed turning around to face him.

"What so funny?" - I barked

"Nothing, I don't know you might be right"

"How can she be right?!" - Lector says popping up next to his shoulder

"How about we just get to the mayor of Peace Village and find out shall we?"
