Chapter 35

Ariel's POV

I sat in my seat, throwing my bag over the chair. I sunk into my seat, Aiden gets me so worked up. That was not really a good way to start my day.

We had a substitute for this class. Good, I don't exactly feel like doing anything right now, to be completely honest. Even though Art is by far my favorite class, and it's the best way for me to express myself, I don't want to do anything.

I don't get why Aiden is so mad at me. It's not my fault I fell for Zayn. I mean, I have to agree with Aiden, it's weird how Zayn and I got together. It's like in one of those Cliché movies when the bad boy falls for the nerd. It's kind of like that except, I'm not exactly a nerd, nor am I considered popular. It's kind of stupid how people have titles based on their personality or their appearance. I truly feel bad for the people who get picked on in school or anywhere else. It's not their fault they're who they are, right?

Okay, Ariel. Getting off topic, again.

Where's Zayn? He should be here. He's usually never late for this class. And English, because that's the only classes we have together, so he makes sure he's always there. It's ten minutes into the period and he hasn't shown up. This isn't like him. I quickly slid out my phone, sending him a text.

To: Zayn <3

Hey, Zayn. Where are you? :/

I kept re-checking my phone. He hasn't replied. This really isn't like him, I'm starting to worry. I really want to call him. I raised my hand. "Yes?'' The sub asked.

"May I go to the bathroom?" I asked her, politely.

"Sure," She replied, getting back to her book.

I smiled, grabbing my phone as I walked out of the class room. I walked down the hallway, passing by Kate and Aiden's class. I smiled when Kate noticed me, I waved. Kate smiled. Aiden went to look up at what Kate was looking at and he saw me. He turned his attention back to his binder, as if he hadn't seen me. I frowned, walking passed their classroom.

I walked outside and quickly dialed Zayn's number. It rang, he didn't pick up the first time. I dialed again, it went to his voice mail again. I groaned. I heard laughter. I looked straight ahead, noticing two people about ten feet away. After looking for a little bit longer, I knew exactly who they were.
