Chapter 14: Random Thoughts

Chriss' POV.

"Sir you have meeting tomorrow at 8 AM in the morning," Athena said as we got here inside our room.

Kakapasok lang namin dito sa loob kasi katatapos lang namin kumain ng dinner. Medyo natagalan kasi ang dami ba naman inorder ni Justine at Athena na pagkain. Tch. Mga gutom parang may bulate sa tyan.

"With whom?" I asked. Ayoko kasi na basta-basta na lang ako sumasabak sa meeting ng hindi ko kilala kung sino ang ka'meeting ko.

"With Mr. Sy," she said.

"Mr. Sy? I never heard his name."

"He is the owner of Sy Incorporation, Sir. Yung sa mga materials sa paggawa ng sasakyan."

"We don't need them Athena. Anyway ano gusto nun?"

"He wants a partnership Sir."

"Partnership? Tch. You know me Athena. Hindi ako agad-agad makikipag partnership kani'kanino lang. Cancel the meeting from him." I command.

Everyone knows that when it comes to business and to my company napaka strikto ko kasi ayoko ng kung sino-sino lang ang nakikipag'partnership sa companya namin.

And one more thing I don't want my company in trouble. Kaya hanggat maaari iniiwasan kong makipag'meeting sa hindi familiar sakin na pangalan unless my dad and my mom know them.

"Alright then Sir. Since you cancelled your meeting with Mr. Sy, makikipag meeting ka na lang kay Mr. Tan."

Mr. Tan? I knew him. Friend siya ni daddy simula nung magkaroon ang kompanya namin ng Branch dito sa Seoul. Matinik na Business Man daw yan. Kung ano gusto niya nakukuha niya. Tch. But he won't do that to me.

"Alright. What time?" I asked her.

"10 am in the morning Sir."

"Okay, got it. Are you done reminding me? I f*cking want to sleep."

"Yes Sir tapos na po. Thanks for your time Sir."

After she said that, pumunta na siya sa bathroom to change her clothes.
Ako naman andito na sa king size bed para makahiga na.

Nang makalabas na siya sa bathroom para magbihis, dumeretso na sa sofa bed at humiga na rin.

"Good night Sir," sabi nito.

"Yeah," I replied.

I turned off the lamp shade beside me. Hindi kasi ako makatulog if there is light.

I closed my eyes but sh*t I can't sleep. I really can't sleep.

I stood up from bed and went to the small fridge inside of this room. I drink water para ma'refresh and para na rin antukin ako.

As I went to the bed, I checked Athena first. Wala siyang unan. Ang tanging nagsisilbing unan niya lang ay ang tuwalya na ginamit niya kanina.

Tch. This woman. Aish. Buti na lang at hindi basa ang tuwalya nito kung hindi sasakit ang ulo nito.

Since dalawa naman ang unan na gamit ko, I get one pillow on the bed. Inangat ko nang konti ang ulo ni Athena and slowly remove the towel na gamit niya.

I put the pillow and onti onti kong inihiga ang ulo niya. I saw some hair covering her face. I stroke it in her hair. This is made me realized that she have a beautiful face.

She has a natural beauty. Her red lips is natural. I touch her lips and it is soft . I feel like I want to kiss her and feel her lips once again but no. I need to stop this feeling.

Bumalik na agad ako sa higaan. I lay down. As I lay down, random thoughts came in my mind. Why I feel like I want to protect her? That I want to hug and kiss her? I want to be with her all the time? Damn! What is going on with me?

Nakarinig ako nang konting paggalaw sa sofa bed pero hindi ko pinansin yun.

I close my eyes once again and hoping na makakatulog agad ako. But tch. I'm wrong. Mas lalong hindi ako nakaramdam ng antok.

Nakarinig nanaman ako ng paggalaw ni Athena. Bumangon ako to check her. I saw her folded her arms. Nilalamig siguro.

Nilapitan ko siya and check her arms, and yes I am right. Nilalamig nga siya. But iisa lang ang kumot na meron ang kwarto ito.

Hindi naman magkakasya sa buong katawan niya ang tuwalya niya. She's tall.

"Aish. No choice," I mumbled to myself. I carried her and put her on the bed. She will sleep beside me. No malice. I'm just being a gentleman here. Hindi ko naman pwedeng pabayaan ang sekretarya ko. Baka magkasakit to kasalanan ko pa.

Humiga na ako sa tabi niya. Buti na lang at nag'pajama siya yun nga lang manipis naman ang tela. Tch. Kaya nilalamig eh.

Kinumutan ko siya. I stroke her hair once again. She's damn gorgeous. I admit it. Damn it! My heart beats so fast. Why I feel like this? I never feel this way before. I sigh.

I kiss her forehead and whisper something on her ear.

"Good night Athena."

I closed my eyes but still my heart keeps on beating so fast. I need to figure it out what's the meaning of this. I need to figure it out why every time I'm in touch with this woman, my heart keeps on beating so fast? I need an answer right away. I need to know the answer.

But one word pop up in my mind. 'Like'? Could it be possible that I already like this woman sleeping beside me? Could it be possible that she's the reason why my heart keeps on beating so fast?

Aish. I don't know. This random thoughts kill me. Psh. F*ck this thought in my head.
