Chapter 47: Forgiven!

Athena's POV.

"I'm sorry," I said with full of my sincerity.

"Hmm!!!" He answered. Am I now forgiven?

"Pinapatawad mo na ako?" I asked once again.

"Huh? May s-sinabi ba ako?" He said while chewing his food.

"You said 'hmmm' awhile ago. So that's mean?" Pabitin kong sabi.

"Nah! You misinterpret it. I was just chewing and tasting the food. It taste delicious really. Tell me how did you cook this?" He asked.

Kung kanina ay masaya ako because I am expecting that he already forgive me pero mali pala ako. Nasarapan pala siya sa pagkain na dala ko. But still I am glad that he likes it.

I let a sigh. Sooner or later mapapatawad niya rin ako. I told to myself.

"Do you like it?"

"No. I actually love it. It taste like my mom's dish. Tell me how did you this?" He said in amused.

"Actually it was my mom's recipe which I cannot share to anyone. Siguro kaya parehas ng niluto ko ang sa mommy mo because it is the special recipe of our mom." That's true.

Mom's recipe when it comes to food are the best. No one can beats that. My mom gave her some recipes. Ipapamana raw niya saakin ang mga recipe na yun because galing pa sa ancestors nila ang recipe na yun. Although minsan nababago ang mga ingrediets but the original taste of dish is still there. Name-maintain namin ang lasa.

"You think so?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yeah. Sige Sir. Ililig---" I was supposed to stand up to clean his office but he stop me.

"Wait?"

"Bakit po?"

"Can you come with me to the mall?" He asked.

"Mall Sir?

"Hindi. Bar. Tch. You heard me right. Mall."

"Ano gagawin natin dun?" I asked.

"Iinom. Tch. Seriously Athena? May bibilhin lang ako saglit. Can you?" He said.

"Okay," I replied. Wala naman siguro masama di ba? Kailangan ko na rin kasi bumawi sakanya eh.

Haysss! I won't stop apologizing to him. I won't stop until I did not get his forgiveness. I want to bring back everything to normal. Even his treatment to me.

At Mall...

We are here at Mall. Particular in Department Store. Sa mga Woman's Section. Gusto raw niya bumili ng mga damit at sapatos.

Hindi ko siya maintindihan kung bakit. Basta ang sabi lang niya I should keep my mouth shut and stop acting like a nosy lady. So I did. Bahala siya diyan.

"Athena look at this. Maganda ba?" Then he shows me a black dress. All I can say is....

Silence...

Yeah. Quiet lang ako. Yun ang sabi niya eh. So I didn't give any comment.

"How about..." then he shows me a blue dress with diamonds.

"...this one?" Alam niyo na kung ano sagot ko. Syempre no comment. Ano pa nga ba? Utos niya eh.

"Athena! Don't you say anything? Kanina pa ako dada ng dada oh."

But me, tahimik pa rin ako.

"You are not listening, aren't you?"

Nah! I'm listening. Paano ako hindi maririnig siya eh kung magsalita parang ang ingay-ingay. Knowing na magkatabi lang kami? Psh. At hindi ako bingi nuh.

"Athena! F*ck! Say something," he cursed. What the hek? Okay sana kung sumisigaw lang pero ang may kasamang mura? Ang sarap tapalan ng scotch tape mga bes.

"Aray ha!" Sabi ko with touching my ears. I am pretending na masakit kunyari ang tenga ko.

"Okay sana kung sinisigawan mo lang ako eh pero ang may kasamang mura? Psh."

"You are not even talking. Bingi ka ba?"

Is he insulting me? Alam ko na hindi pa kami tapos pero ang sabihan akong bingi? Hindi ito makakaligtas sakin.

"Hoy Mr. Yoo!" Sabay turo ko sakanya.

"Hindi ako bingi. And for your information, you said to me awhile ago to shut my mouth. Hindi ba? So tell me, am I wrong?" Paghahamon ko.

"Tch. Okay fine fine," he said while raising up his both hands.

"I surrender, okay? You can talk now," he said.

"Yun naman pala eh. Edi tapos ang usapan." Sabi ko. As fast as that. Wala ng maraming dada.

"So saan na tayo pupunta?" I asked.

"Kids section. I need to buy some stuffs." He said.

Kids section? Para kanino?

"What's the look?"

"Para kanino yang mga damit na pinamimili mo?" I asked. Na-cucurious lang ako.

"For my baby."

For his what? For his...?

"Baby?" I asked again. Did I hear him right?

So it means....

"Yes."

Doomed! He has a baby. Bakit ganto? Feeling ko niloloko lang niya ako.

"Do you think this is nice?" He ask me while showing me a small dress.

I just nod for my answer.

"I will buy some shoes." He said.

Bakit ganto? On the other hand, nakakaramdam ako ng pagkahilo at pagsakit ng puson ko.

"Is this perfect for her? Do you think she will like it?" He asked again.

"Y-Yeah," nanginginig na sagot ko.

Ewan ko but I feel like I don't have energy anymore. I feel like I don't want to continue walking with him. Bigla akong nanghina.

"Ah. I almost forgot. Samahan mo ko sa supermarket. I'll buy some milk, food and pampers for her," he said.

Again, I nod. Hinilot ko ang sentido ko. Kumikirot siya. Hinimas ko rin ang puson ko medyo masakit talaga.

Tinignan ko siya. Medyo malayo layo na rin ang nilakad niya. Gusto ko sana siya sigawan pero wala akong lakas.

Gusto kong tumakbo papunta sa gawi niya pero ang mga binti ko ang nangangatog na. Anong gagawin ko?

"S-Sir C-Chriss..." nanginginig sabi ko habang nakahawak sa puson ko. Namimilipit ako sa sakit.

Hindi ko na talaga kaya. God please. Help me. Hanggang sa pakonti konti akong nakakaramdam ng pagbagsak ng mga mata ko.

Hinihintay kong lumapat ang aking mga likod sa sahig ng may mga makikisig na braso ang sumagip saakin at dahilan ng pagkamulat ko.

"F*ck! Anong nangyayari sa'yo Athena?"

"S-Sir Chriss..."

"H-Hey. H-Hold on. Tumawag kayo ng ambulansya," rinig kong sigaw niya.

"I-I.... I-I'm s-sorry."

"D*mn! Hey. Wake Up! Athena!"

"S-Sorry."

"I already forgive you," the last word I heard that made me smile and...
