Your Sob Story and Mine

Levi's POV:

Its been two weeks since Erwin had come in the shop with the news Jean had cheated on him. No one has really heard from Jean since then, and no one knows who this freckled person is he cheated on Erwin with.

Eren and I were currently sitting in his apartment on this rainy Saturday day, talking about nothing much really. I was looking through some new drawing designs and Eren was pointing out the ones he liked. I was looking through the pictures because I was thinking of getting a tattoo...I also needed new designs for my shop

I glanced up and saw our pile of winter coats stacked neatly in the corner of the room. It reminded me of Eren's old coat.

"Hey...I have been meaning to ask you this for a while but why do you wear that super small coat in the winter?" I said, flipping over a large picture of a dragon

"Oh..." there was a pause and I looked over at Eren, he sat up and moved hair out of his face, "I have never told you?"

I shook my head and faced him

"Well, my mother gave it to me for my 17th birthday" Eren said and gave me a sad smile, "So I never really take it off in the winter" 

I pursed my lips and looked away from him, "I'm sorry for asking" I said quietly

"Hey its fine! Anyone would wonder why I would wear a small coat when I can easily afford a new one..." Eren said with a half bright smile. 

"Well...since we are finding stuff out about each other...can you tell me what happened to...to your mum?" Eren said hesitantly

My eyes widened but I kept my gaze on the floor.

"I wasn't listening to my mother one day and she backed out of our driveway, a transport truck came around the corner and smashed into the side of the car. Its a wonder she survived...I was so close I had blood on my face. The transport truck driver survived with only a sprained wrist and whiplash." I said in a cold voice, I took a big breath and sat back against the couch. "My father had left my mother and I just three months before that...she was supporting her and I all alone, I was 13 at the time." 

Eren didn't say anything as he rested his head against mine, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"I'm sorry that happened to you love..." Eren said and slowly continued, "My mum...she died of cancer when I was 10...my father took care of me until I was 16 then left. I still have no idea where he is...one day he just never came home. I don't even know if he is still alive...and I frankly don't care" Eren's voice laced with bitter anger and sadness.

I leaned over and kissed Eren slowly, "Gosh...we both have pretty shit sob stories don't we" I muttered after I broke away from Eren.

"Come on, I'm gonna make some food stay here and sort out what you think I would like" I got up and headed over to the kitchen.

I headed into work on Monday morning, just like usual. Eren had said he was taking the day off, he wanted a mental health day. 

The rain spitted outside lightly, the temperature a kind warm as I opened the door to my shop.

I set my book bag down beside the piano and pulled out the new drawings for the shop. After I sorted the ones I thought would be good to display on the front window, I placed them there and stepped back. 

I turned back to the piano to get the rest of the drawings when the door to the shop opened. Only one person would come in at 8 AM.

"Hello Erwin what brings you here at this hour" I said looking up, sure enough the tall blonde stood in the shoe area of the shop. 

I narrowed my eyes.

He looked...strange? 

"Erwin?" I said, waving my hands slightly to try to get his blank expression to change. Erwin walked forward, his gaze looked confused and clouded.

"What the hell...?" I said and walked forward too, meeting Erwin in the middle of the shop. I looked at his face and saw it looked wracked with pain.

"I saw Jean and his new boyfriend" Erwin said, his voice surprisingly loud and clear.

"Oh shit. Where?" I asked and tried to make Erwin sit

Erwin wouldn't budge as he looked down at me.

"In the bakery" Erwin said pointing to the shop next to us, my eyes widened the narrowed in anger.

"Hold that thought" I said and tried to walk past Erwin, before I could storm out the door and beat the living hell out of Jean a hand clamped around my upper arm, pulling me back.

"No...leave it please" Erwin said, his voice sounding very tired. I shook him off and turned back to him.

"Sit down, you look like you are going to fai-mph" I was cut off when Erwin leaned down and kissed me roughly.

I was too shocked to move for a second until I pushed him away strongly.

"Erwin what the fuck?!" I yelled, my rage turning to him.

Erwin didn't speak he took my hands and pulled me forward again, kissing me. I struggled in his grip, not wanting to hurt him just to get him off me.

He wouldn't budge, he was a lot stronger then I was apparently.

I swung my foot up and it connected with his side, finally he broke away from me and I gasped for air. Erwin leaned forward in pain, loosening his grip on my wrists.

"Levi can't you dull my pain~?" Erwin said, his voice sounding more evil then I have ever heard before. Who is this?!

"Who the hell are you?!" I screamed and backed away from him. Erwin sighed and stood straight, a new look coming over him. He looked dangerous, and very angry.

"You know me..Erwin Smith" Erwin put his hand to his chest, smiling a little "The charmer who first stole your heart" All signs of his previous sadness and weakness gone, now replaced with a stranger.

"You never..." I trailed off and backed away again, preparing to kick the living shit out of him if he dared touch me again.

I have never known Erwin to be like this...he was usually so nice and calm...was he like this with Jean? Is that why he cheated on him?

And to think about it...I haven't seen Jean in a long time...Eren even tried to call him and he is nowhere to be seen.

"Where is Jean?" I asked strongly, prepared to run.

Erwin laughed.

Erwin laughed 

"Not sure actually..." He said lightly and his gaze flicked over to me again.

That's my cue to run
