"I'm sorry Penny. We just didn't see him anywhere out there." Steve informed as he was driving you home.
Your head slumped down.
"Are you sure? Maybe you missed a spot?" You hopefully asked.
He shook his head but stayed silent.
"We'll find him Penelope." Natasha added from the back seat.
"Before or after he kills my parents?" You snapped.
You sighed,"I'm sorry guys."
"It's fine." They said in close unison.
"I'm just. I'm so scared." Your voice cracked as tears began to stream.
Steve pulled up to your complex and parked the car.
"Nat and I need to go to your parents' house now so we will keep you updated. If Bucky comes here call us."
You silently nodded and got out of the car and rushed up to your apartment wanting to be alone.
Earlier
You stood still and in shock as Bucky exited the house.
You had no effect on him.
You tried to fight tears but it was impossible.
A minute later your ran out of the house and looked around for Bucky.
He was nowhere in sight.
You were pissed.
You marched back into the house and right up to Alexander and slapped him as hard as you could.
It probably hurt you more than it did him.
He had an amused look on his face.
"Did you think you could stop him because you love him?" He laughed.
You clenched your teeth and fists simultaneously.
"You son of a bitch!!" You viciously lunged for him but was pulled back by someone.
Steve walked out from behind you visibly mad.
He grabbed Alexander by his collar and shoved him against the wall.
"What did you do?" He angrily asked.
Alexander said nothing.
"Where is Bucky going?" He asked another question.
"Why don't you ask your dear friend Penelope?"
Steve turned to you.
You pulled yourself from the hands that were still holding on to you.
There was a really pretty red head standing there.
"He's going to my parents' house." You choked out and paused,"To kill them."
The girl tossed Steve a pair of handcuffs and he yanked Alexander over to the bed handcuffed him to it and for safe measures he knocked him unconscious before calling the police.
Steve took you out of the house and to a car not to far away.
"Stay here. Me and Natasha are going to look around." He instructed before leaving.
You sat in the car crying and shaking as you thought about what was happening.
Minutes later they returned and got into the car.
He was as upset as you so you said nothing.
He obviously didn't find Bucky out there.
He pulled off.
