My eyes lit up. "Really?!?!" I question excitedly. A smirk appeared on my mother's face. "Oh, sorry. I meant your father and I."
My excitement diminished. "Oh, okay."
"We'll be back in a few weeks, okay? Don't be getting into any trouble."
"Okay, Mom." I roll my eyes.
I was actually very elated, but I wasn't going to show it or they might stay to torture me.
They then exit the house and jump into the car. I can't help but be happy. They've been abusing me for two months already. I finally get a break.
I walk to my room and hop onto the bed. Should I call Karma? Tell him the news? Oh well, I'll just invite him over tomorrow.
