We entered my condo and I quickly locked the door behind us Camila stood in the middle of the room observing me a worried look in her eyes

"So what do we do now?" Camila asked 

"Nothing, we go on as normal the last thing we want is for Lauren to be a step ahead of us or for her to catch on to what we are doing" I said calmly

"Well what do we do about work, we can't stay hidden forever Fallon" Camila added

"yeah, I know I know  so here's the plan, we continue going to work as planned only you come back here don't go back to your house it's not safe there  at least not yet" I stated as I stared blankly at the wall

The weekend was over and it was now Monday morning Camila wasn't set to return to work until Wednesday so she kept herself busy by writing music and playing her guitar  I woke early that morning and started coffee  I was sure not to awaken Camila  she was sleeping so peacefully yet snoring or should I say breathing loudly this past week had been both stressful and draining for both of us but duty called and I had to return to work. 

I entered the precinct  and sat at my desk sorting out papers

"Hey stranger, for a moment I thought you weren't coming back" I glanced up and saw Lucy my fellow officer smiling down at me her brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight

"Hey Lucy yeah Duty calls I had to come back you know, and by the way I-I'm sorry for running out on you like that at the bar that night, I had an emergency and I had to ge-"

"It was Lauren wasn't it? Fallon I told you If you want I can get tabs on this girl follow her around if she's a danger to you then she's a danger to Camila as well and you've gotta do something about it before it gets out of hand"

"I'm handling it Lucy, I don't want you to get involved it's my thing I can deal with it" I said cutting her off. I felt her eyes staring at me

"Hey, just remember i'm on your side okay" She said softly before walking away. I felt like complete shit for brushing her off but I didn't want to get her involved I knew how crazy Lauren was and bringing Lucy into the mix would only escalate things for camila and I

The day was long but ended on a good note I was in the locker room changing when my phone rang startling me I glanced at the name and quickly answered

"Camila is everything ok?!" I spoke hesitantly

"Calm down everything fine babe I was just calling to see if you were going to be home soon? I was thinking we could have a date night inside maybe watch some netflix and have pizza of something try and get our minds off things" she said sweetly

"Hmm date night that sounds amazing and actually I am off now just changing and I'll be home soon.

I arrived home at about 7:30 the sun had just set and the sky blushed a beautiful pink and orange color I walked into the condo and the smell of delicious food permiated my nose I searched for Camila and found her in the kitchen dancing gracefully as she stirred a pot with a wooden spoon before bringing it to her lips for a taste.

"Having fun are we?"

"Shit!!" She yelled as she spun around only to find me standing there smiling at her

"My god you scared the shit out of me babe" she exclaimed a flustered look on her face

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you I thought you heard me come in" I said calmly

"No, I didn't maybe I was too busy dancing... but since you're here taste this" she added I walked up behind her placing my hands on her waist as she leaned against me I began kissing her neck

"Are you hungry?" She asked

"Mhm" I replied as I moved strands of her hair back to continue kissing her neck

"Babe come on I want you to taste this"  she whined

"What is it?" I asked breaking my kissing session

"Its sauce for the pasta"

Camila brought the spoon to my lips

"Hm it's pretty good" I said smiling

"Yeah unlike how you smell go shower n freshen up dinner will be finished when you're out" she added pushing me towards the stairs

"Yes mother" I exclaimed as I ascended the steps.

I took a long hot shower changed into fresh clothes and headed back down the stairs  as I rounded the last few steps I noticed how eerily quiet it had become

"Hey Camila I've got the-"

"Well, hi Fallon" a familiar voice chimed from behind me I quickly swung around and was confronted by a face that struck fear into my heart

"How'd you get in here?" I asked calmly as my eyes searched for Camila

"Oh baby haven't you figured that  out already? The old security guard let me through I just turned on the old charm and Bam I'm in !" She giggled I noticed the crazy stare in her eyes.

"Where's Cami-"

"She's fine, I didn't hurt her" Lauren said as she began walking towards me

"You stay the fuck away from me Lauren where the hell is Camila!" I demanded

"I said she's fine!" Lauren shouted causing me to jump as I attempted to push past her I felt a sharp sting in my neck before I fell helplessly to the ground.

"Its time to go night night" Lauren husked in my ear before everything faded to black...
