Truth Be Told Pt. 1

I pulled into the parking lot cautiously with my gun securely hidden on my side after everything going completely south with the Daniel Parker case and our only key witness suddenly disappearing I really didn't know who to trust and this could all be a set up by Lauren so I had to come prepared I wasn't intending on using deadly force especially not in public but if a situation came down to life or death of choose life.

I quickly parked my car and killed the engine my eyes glanced at the clock on my dashboard radio 7:45am it read I closed my eyes and gripped the steering wheel as my heart pounded in my chest the thought of knowing a secret that had been hidden from me since I was a kid now coming to light terrified me I was always told that my father was murdered in a drug bust gone wrong but when the letter arrived now I wasn't so sure that that is what happened.. Or even if that is what happened at all... I watched as a black Mercedes with dark tinted windows pulled up beside me I slowly placed my hand on the handle of my gun the moment was tense

I watched as the passenger side window slowly rolled down mid ways revealingba pair of icy blue eyes the eyes reminded me of my father yet my fathers eyes were warm and loving compared to these eyes which produced a cold stare one of no emotion

"Fallon Y/L/N" the deep voice of a man whom I didn't recognize boomed from the other side

"Yes.. Are you Enigma?" I asked as my hand gripped the handle of my gun I was so tense that at any moments notice I could snap

"Get in the car we've got a lot to talk about" the mans voice was EXTREMLEY deep,thick and broken

I removed my keys from the ignition and placed them into my pockets as I exited my car and climbed into the back seat of the Mercedes

"Before we get started there are two simple rules you must follow in order to get the information you seek ONE. keep your eyes straight do not look at me not even once. And TWO once I drop you off do not look back do not try and follow this car are we clear?" the deep voice boomed
Causing my to jump

"Yes w-we're clear" I managed to stutter out I glanced at the manila envelope in my hand and began opening it when a heavy hand stopped me

"Not here, Open it when you are alone" The deep voiced man warned I nod my head in compliance

As the car pulled back into the parking lot the man turned towards me as the strong smell of cigar smoke filled my lungs causing me to stifle a cough I remembered his warning not to look at him so I kept my stare towards the road as the car came to a smooth hault

"Once you read these confidential documents it will then be up to you to decide what is the right thing to do and I hope that you will choose revenge your father he was a dedicated Officer.. he was a good man and he didn't deserve what happened to him I tried to intervene in his death but I was taught a lesson but I know you won't fail" the man exclaimed and as he turned to me I could see that half of his face was severely burned

as hard as it was to contain my shock I managed to keep calm though my heart began to pound in my chest 

"I know you're afraid.. you weren't expecting to see this but I know you won't fail." suddenly a cool breeze filled the inside of the car as the door behind me opened slowly I exited the car with the envelope in my hand as I turned to get into my vehicle I was stopped by the powerful voice

"Hey kid, if you think the girl is a part of this.. she isn't you need to be looking at the bigger picture" he said as the car began to drive off I suddenly had questions

"wait, what girl? what girl are you talking about?!" I screamed as the car drove off quickly I was left standing in an almost empty parking lot with the fate of my father's death in my hands...

A/N guys I'm back!! and believe it or not I had written this chapter 4 weeks ago before I went M.I.A> I just forgot to post it lol sorry to have kept you guys waiting!!
