I stood in my living room staring nervously yet anxiously at the large manila envelope that lay flat on the livingroom table I walked to the kitchen opened a cabinet and pulled out a tall bottle of Jack Daniels I had stopped drinking a while back but something was telling me that I would need a stiff drink in order to get over what I was about to not only read but what I was about to see

I took my seat at the kitchen table and began opening the envelope as I did out fell a small stack of photos.. autopsy photos I quietly picked them up and examined the photos carefully the photos were of my father laying cold and stiff on an autopsy table his body riddled with bullets with the obvious fatal shots being in his temple and chest area just above his heart I began reading through the police report and autopsy report

Autopsy Report (partial Transcript)

This is Dr. Gerald Jameson performing an autopsy my subject is a white male possibly Latin possibly of some sort of Spanish background between the ages of 50 and 58 about six foot 2 body shows major trauma to the head including one of two possible fatal gunshot wound in temple and chest subject shows signs of trauma to the head and superficial bruising on the back and neck which are purplish blueish in color, the subject seems to have suffered a blow to the back of the head with some sort of blunt force object the final ruling for this autopsy is marked so as "undetermined" until further tests can be performed.

Police Report of witness:

Witness Statement: witness #3 says that she heard a man yell for help before hearing multiple gunshots there after the authorities were called, witness also claims that she noticed a dark colored 4 door suv in the area shortly before lone officer arrived at the scene subject describe a the officer as about 6 foot 2 inches medium build, graying hair, of spanish or Caucasian descent , witness also states that she witnessed an unidentified male fleeing the scene before the authorities arrived case is considered a cold case no further information is needed.

I sat quietly collecting my thoughts before gathering the photos and paperwork and placing them back inside of the envelope I knew what I had to do now that I knew the truth about my fathers death someone was going to pay and that someone was Chief Jauregui.
