Chapter:8 First flying lesson

Y/N P.O.V

  I woke up everything was white it looks like I'm laying on a bed 'wait I know this place it's the Hospital Wing' I said to myself I turned to the right to see my brother reading a book. I sat up and groaned in pain "Y/N are you ok?" my brother asked me while  he helped me up "ummm.... I don't know" I said he looked at me worried just then Madam Pomfrey  approached us "Ms. L/N if you are feeling better you can go back to your classes, but if you still feel dizzy you can go back to your dormitory" she said I nodded then looked at my brother "you better go back to your dormitory" he said  "nah I think I'm good, I want to attend flying lessons anyway" I said trying to make an excuse "Are you sure?" "Yup pretty sure" my brother helped me stood up and he guided me to flying class  "thanks bro" I said "Anytime" I gave him a smile then walked to the class I was right in time I stood next to Crabbe "Hey Y/N you feeling better?" he asked "yah much much better" I said "wait a minute how did you know I wasn't feeling well?" I asked curious "umm.... well um.. Malfoy told us" he said while bowing his head I just nodded just then Professor Hooch arrived  "Good afternoon class" she greeted "Good afternoon Madame Hooch" everyone said in unson.

"Welcome to your first flying lesson, now what are you waiting for everyone stand by the left side of a broomstick. Stick out your right hand over your broom and say UP!" 

"UP!" I said and the broomstick followed my orders I was the first one to get the broomstick, then Harry, then Draco, then so on and so fourth. 

"Now, when I blow my whistle, I want you to kick off from the ground, hard," said Madame Hooch. "Keep your brooms steady, rise a few feet, and then come straight back down by leaning forward slightly. On my whistle three-two-"

But Neville, started to fly even before the whistle had touched Madame Hooch's lips.

"Mr. Longbottom" she shouted "come back here in this instance". But obviously Neville doesn't have control of the broom. He then flies everywhere "Mr. Longbottom" Madame Hooch keeps on repeating. 

But Neville was rising straight up like a cork shot out of a bottle-twelve feet-twenty feet. WHAM, Neville was stuck on a statue then he fell, but another statue catches him, then he fell again but this time there was no more statue to catch him. 

We all surrounded him "out of my way" Madame Hooch said as she approach Neville, she bends down and lifts Neville's arm "ow ow ow" said Neville poor guy "oh dear it's a broken wrist come on stand up" Madame Hooch said as she helped Neville stand up "Now all of you will keep your feet firmly on the ground while I take Mr. Longbottom to the Hospital Wing, if I see a single broom in the air the one riding  it will be out of Hogwarts before you can say 'Quidditch'" she said as she walks away.

 "Did you see his face" Draco said as he plays with the remembrall 

"the great lump falls on to his fat ass" (A/N: combination of the book and the movie) the Slytherins laughed well except me.

"Give it here, Malfoy" Harry said as he walk towards Draco, he then smiles "No I think I'll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to find" he said as he rides his broom "how about the roof?"  he said then flies up. Harry then grabbed his broom "Harry no way" I said while holding his robe"you heard what Madame Hooch said and besides you don't even know how to fly" Hermione said continuing my sentence. But of course Harry didn't listen I let go of his robe because I don't want him to fall "what an idiot " me and Hermione said in unison.

I sighed and went to a side so I can lean on a wall I then crossed my arms. Draco and Harry started talking but I was too far away to hear what the're talking about. Just then Draco throws the remembrall then he returns back to the ground, as for Harry he raced for the remembrall and caches it he then raises it so everyone could see then he returns to the ground, everyone surrounded him except for me, Pansy, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. 

Just then Professor McGonagall arrived "Harry Potter!" she shouted "follow me" she said as Harry follows. When they were both gone Draco, Pansy, Goyle, and Crabbe started laughing I just rolled my eyes at them just then Madame Hooch came I stood up and bumped Draco on purpose, then I returned to the crowd. 

"Well where was I ah yes" Madame Hooch said "Now everyone on their brooms and kick off from the ground, the first four to fly up will have a chance to fly around the field" I followed Madame Hooch's orders then I started flying, not much impressed really I used to play Quidditch at home with my whole family so I'm kinda used to this. I was the second one to rise up Draco was first of course, after me Crabbe and Goyle rose up as well. 

We waited for everyone to rise "well done everyone now as promise the first four will have a chance to fly around the field, now everyone go back to the ground except for Ms.L/N, Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Crabbe, and Mr. Goyle." everyone then followed what Madame Hooch said, then us four made a line so we know who will go first "Madame Hooch?" asked Draco "Is it ok if us three will go first?" at first Madame Hooch was confused but nodded.

The three of them then made their positions "ready go!" Madame Hooch said then the three of them rode like lightning incredibly they were all fast "GO! GO! GO!" everyone cheered as the three went back to the ground "very impressive the three of you" Madame Hooch said I looked at Draco then he gave me a smirk I just rolled my eyes at him "now Ms. L/N your turn" everyone was silent I took a deep breath then I rode my broom as fast as I can then when I was fast enough I went up in the air then I positioned my broom and dived back down with my feet on the broom I rode it like what's the word ah yes a skateboard I saw one when I was little on the muggle world. I rode it like that around the field then I waited for the right timing I back flipped then I landed on the ground I then took a bow. 

Everyone was cheering and clapping some were even whistling. "Outstanding work Ms. L/N I expect you to join the Quidditch next year yes?" Madame Hooch said "I will do my best" I said then smiled. 

I then passed by Draco and I gave him a smirk, he was just there frozen in place. Finally the classes were over I was with Hermione that time although I heard some ghosts say that Harry is the new seeker for Gryffindor is this true? I asked myself.

Then we saw Harry and Ron talking to each other we approached them "what if a make fool of myself?" Harry asked worried "you won't make a fool of yourself it's in your blood" Hermione said we then followed her into a glass like container with badges and trophies in it.

She then points at one of the badges that has 'James Potter' written on it "Harry you didn't tell us that your dad was a seeker" Ron said "I didn't know" Harry said while looking at his dad's badge.
