Chapter 6: Kawaii~Chan

F/P. It was one of the classes you had with her, and your last chance to ask her. And, your last chance to get an answer, or a confession, or something that could let you live your life again. That might seem dramatic, but you did need this, you couldn't live out the rest of this year with worries over Zane. 

The bell hasn't rung, you still have time. You look around, eyes frantically searching for that black tail. But, despite your efforts, you never see it. She wasn't there, or if she was, you couldn't seem to spot her. 

You want to call out for her, so desperately that she would have to respond. But, your mouth won't move, and the F/P teacher walks in before you can try again. 

You don't pay attention, you couldn't. The whole class, images flashed in your mind, replaying the events that had happened and the events you predicted to happen. It panicked you, to not see her there. This was the last period, your final chance to talk to her before your weekend. 

Tick, tick, tick. 

The clock ticks by, each minute you silently pleading for her to burst into the classroom. But, as an hour passes by, there's still no sign of her. You can feel the sweat on your forehead, can hear the tapping of your fingers, this met so much to you. 

And then, there's a knock. Your eyes widen, and you look over to see the small door unlock. And there she is, with a bow in her hair, it's really Kawaii~Chan. 

You gather yourself together, letting your hand rest again. You wipe away the drops of sweat on your forehead, and brush out loose strands of hair in your face. 

The clock is still ticking, but now it reveals that there's only 20 minutes left in the class. 20 minutes until you can finally get answers, and make progress in solving this complicated mystery. 

Finally, like a heavenly tune, the bell rings. You see her stand up, her dress swaying as she bends over to pick up her books. You get up as well, trying to position yourself to where you can intercept her before she leaves. 

She walks towards the door, tail trailing behind like a shadow. But, your there to stop here, a fake grin plastered onto your face. 

"Kawaii~Chan, can I ask you something?"
