Kawaii~Chan gives you a look of innocence, a look that you may be tempted to slap off of her depending on how this session went.

Her perky voice speaks up, "What is it Y/N~senpai?"

You give her a stern glance, the sound of your own pulse in your own ears.

"Zane and you, what happened? And give me the truth."

Her eyes flicker around the room, not daring to make the slightest bit of contact with yours. You notice her foot begin to tap, and one of her ears beginning to twitch.

In your own mind,  you're panicked too. If Kawaii~Chan was getting this freaked out over it, was what she did bad? Was it worse than what you thought?

In the midst of your internal conflict, you barely hear Kawaii~Chan's faint mumble. You only see her looking at her shoes, her head hung low like she was ashamed. Honestly, seeing her like this made you feel kind of.....bad.  You were hoping it really wasn't that big of a deal, and that she was just beating herself up over something silly.

You ask her to repeat herself, and with a bit of hesitance, she finally does.

"Kawaii~Chan told Zane~kun that she loved him, because she did. But Kawaii~Chan knew how much Y/N~senpai cared for him, so Kawaii~Chan told him that she didn't want him to think any different about Kawaii~Chan. Kawaii~Chan knew it was wrong to love him, but Kawaii~Chan couldn't stop the feeling!"

At the last word, her lip begins to quiver. Before she can burst, you try to comfort her.

"Kawaii~Chan, I-"

But she doesn't listen. Instead, she runs out of the room, tears already flowing down her face like a waterfall. Your plan didn't go the way you wanted it to, but at least you knew that nothing really had happened between them. Or, at least you wanted to think that.

You wait a little in the classroom, so that you and Kawaii~Chan don't cross paths. You knew things would be awkward, but you didn't know how to fix it. It wasn't like you couldn't magically erase these past few months so that none of this would happen, it wasn't that simple.

You head out of the classroom, another problem popping into your head. Zane. This was becoming a sophomore year again, where you couldn't just be happy with him. No matter what you did, another problem popped up, another thing to drive you crazy.

You unlock your locker, letting out a sigh filled with tiredness. Like sophomore year, your situation seemed hopeless, but you were still hoping that your happy ending would come. So, trying to put on a happy face, you sling your backpack over your shoulder and head out of Phoenix Drop High with a heavy heart.

Author's Note: I am so sorry for not updating in so long. Recently, a lot of stuff has went on, and I was motivated to do anything at all somedays. But, I am a lot happier, and I wanted to finally come back and show you guys that I do care. Even if I don't say, I will always care about you, and what you think as you did the same to me for so long. I love all of you, more than you'll ever know. With that out of the way, I do have one announcement. I'm getting rid of any schedule I had. Even though I haven't been following them too well, they still have pressured me, and sometimes I can't come up with too good of ideas with the time given. So, from now on, I will try to update whenever I can. If the next chapter comes out tomorrow, so be it, but if it comes out next weekend I hope you guys can understand. Life just gets busy, but I hope to be a better author for you. -Kayla/Author
