For the next week, no one talks to you. You felt lonely, yeah, but at the same time you were a little relived. At least now, you wouldn't have to worry about messing things up with someone else.

Today marked a week since the fight. In your heart, you felt like you should apologize, but in your mind, you didn't feel like it was needed. You hadn't done anything wrong, so what was there to apologize for?

You sigh, as the thoughts become complicated. Although you did believe your head, you still knew nothing would change without a sincere apology. And of course, the apology would have to come from you, as it always was your fault and your responsibility.

You head to school, still getting a ride from you mom everyday. By now, you should have gotten your license, but you had never made time to. That wasn't important though, what mattered most today was trying to talk to them again. Both of them.

Your first half of the day is boring. Lectures, work, and more lectures. By now you were used to it, and had gotten good at making yourself look as if you were paying attention to the teacher's nonsense. In your mind, you drift into thoughts. They're not pleasant, but instead reflect the worse-possible outcome of trying to talk to Zane and Kawaii~Chan. Despite your efforts not to, you feel afraid, fearing that these nightmares were really foresight to the future.

At lunch, you find yourself in the library, hiding away from the your old friends that you didn't want to see. As you're about to bite into your sandwich, a sturdy hand taps on your shoulder. Your face heats up, realizing who it was.

You turn around, trying to look as relaxed as possible. When you do so, you meet him there. You meet Zane, standing behind you, anxiously tugging at his navy-blazer.

He looks at you, with a surprisingly sympathetic look in his eyes.

"Y/N, oh my god, I am so sorry."

You shake your head, "No, Zane I am too."

He reaches out to your hand, and clenches it in his. "No, it's my fault. I was such an idiot, I should have never gotten mad at you. Thinking about it, I-I know I would do the same."

You smirk, "I never would of thought I'd see you apologizing to me with that look."

He blushes, "I screwed up, that's all. Don't think I'm becoming a softie."

You laugh, "I think you already all."

He smiles back, still holding onto your hand. "So, do you, do you forgive me?"

You nod, "Of-of course. It was all a big mistake, and, I think we both can take fault."

He lets go of your hand, nodding. "Then, I want to be better. I haven't been there for you, and well, we need to change that."

"I think so too, and, I know exactly where we can start," you reply, hope stirring in your belly.

Author's Note: I feel like I say this in almost every chapter, but as usual, I am very sorry. My absence was not fair to you, the reader, and for that I apologize. I really can only say school, and myself being sick got in the way of writing. I feel terrible, especially for having to say this every chapter. I'm planning on trying my best to update on weekends, as I have the most freetime on those days. So, let's hope I can keep my promise! -Kayla/Author
