It was back before AHS started and it was my first time back home in a long time. I decided to go visit Jasper and we both decided to watch my episode of Criminal Minds when it premiered.
She was so excited for me. She was always my biggest supporter.
At that point her parents had never met me. Dustin had but that was it. So obviously, when her parents came home from work and found a strange boy in their living room with their daughter, alone, they had questions.
Jasper introduced us and told her parents I was only in town for a sbort while before I went back to LA for work.
And her dad asked what I did
And I told him I'm an actor

Her mom however...her mom is a closed minded person. If you defy her "norms" then she hates you

Right in front of me she told Jasper to, and I quote "get rid of me". Jasper's dad tried to reason with her but her mom is stuck in her ways
So this caused a fight between Jasper and her mom that I wasn't there for but she called and told me everything.

Her mom told her she couldn't have actors as friends. She said we're shallow and we have big egos and we'll never stay around long. Jasper defended me, said I was the son of one of her dad's old friends she just hadn't met me while her dad didn't recognize me. Jasper said I was more than an actor, I was a real person. I was her friend
And her mom said that I was only using her to make myself feel better
Because Jasper had no talent and was useless and no actor would be her friend willingly

But Jasper's dad heard all this and told her mom she was being irrational and that he knew my dad and I was a fine young man.
Her mom didn't wanna hear it so she went to bed and told her dad to sleep on the couch.
The next morning the family woke up to find her gone. Took her stuff and left while they were sleeping. Only left a note. That said she was done being "the voice of reason".
