After accepting my new destiny, I was little worried about what was going to happen next. 'I mean, what if there gonna be bullies in there, just like I have in my neighbourhood? Or... maybe good people? Maybe... I can able to make some good friends or maybe best friends! Best friends for life!' I thought to myself. In one part of mine, I was worried, but in another part, I was excited and curious. I never thought that I could be a witch. 'Maybe stranger things do happen'. Anyways, after the waves of excitement died a little I opened my letter and began to read.

We are pleased to inform you that, as you have now turned eleven years of age and have the necessary talents, you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

The term begins on September 1. We await your confirmation owl by on later July 31.

After reading the letter, I looked for the enclosed equipment lists and started to read that. It said:

Uniform

The first-year student will require:

Three sets of plain work robes (black)

One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

Please note that all students' clothes should carry name tags at all time.
