So. It's explanation time. And if you came here after my latest OS post, you're just about fed up with them. Luckily for you, you've hopefully read it in it's entirety so this is literally just a copy and paste. You're dismissed. But for those who haven't...

I haven't been posting ANYTHING recently, and I'm so sorry. I made a new schedule, I promised so many things, but nothing's been happening. This isn't that I'm bored- in fact, I love all my stories and have ideas for all of them. But that's the thing: I have too many. I'm that kind of person who, when faced with an overwhelming amount of projects or things to do, just about completely shuts down. And that's exactly what's happened with my writing. Too many books/things on the go = "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOT HAPPENING!".

This, on top of almost a full dozen quizzes, tests, and school projects, is what I have on the 'go' at the time:

-The Sparksize Hexxit-based oneshot request (so sorry I forgot the person's name. Haven't forgotten the request though!)

-The happy ending for When the Tides Turn

-Another Jonja oneshot that I started months ago but haven't finished (and I kinda said I'd have it done in celebration of 2k reads on my Jonja book a few months back, but.... yeah...)

-Love Lost and Found

-Kats and Dogs

And, finally....

-Dear Sparklez: The Full Story

I feel like, besides generally, I've bitten off more than I can chew with DS:TFS. It was a short story that a few people wanted me to expand on, and when I first wrote it, I thought about all the things I could do with the in-between time and maybe even continue after the story ends where they return to the S1 world after S2. So, I made it into a full book. To be honest, I'm not very proud of it. The quality isn't great, and it's not very exciting. The emotions are a bit over-dramatized and cheesy, and there isn't ANY detailing and/or backgrounds for the OCs I've implemented, though they all become important for the ideas I had for the future. There isn't much emotional bonding for the characters they're meant to correspond to, which is a HUGE plot hole, and each chapter seems so short, though they take me ages to write. It's all just so slow going.

So, I'm putting EVERYTHING on hold. In place of the new schedule I made, I'm ditching it completely and re-working it so that, instead of writing K&D every second day like I'd planned, I'll be writing DS:TFS every second day and setting everything else of hiatus. This way I can power through the book, and finish quickly so I can focus on the others afterwards. That being said, I have NO clue how long it'll take. While I don't think I can go back and fix a few of my plot errors, I know that I need to put in a few more short events for character building and, of course, the main event(s). I also need to decide if I'll end it at the reunion or continue past it, like I'd planned. If I do continue past the reunion, I need to somehow shove in everything needed to get to what I've planned, come up with an ending, and somehow make it not terrible.

... Even typing all that is getting overwhelming.

So I know this sucks. This sucks for me too, because I REALLY like writing this book, and the others for that matter! But when DS:TFS gets out of the way, then I can work on the others A) without worrying about getting DS:TFS worked on/finished, and B) I can work on everything MORE OFTEN!

Just bear with me for a while? Please? I'll find a way to make it up later, really. -Pure <3
