"That's not even illegal. If you waited till he was 18, you did nothing wrong. Whether he's in school or not. My wife is a lawyer. Pete gets lectured on the law all the time."
"Wait, so we aren't doing anything illegal?"
"Nope. Perfectly legal." I heard his wife say.
"Then why?"
"Corrupted cops. Hoping for a bribe. You're rich and they need cash. Happens all the time." She said.
"Damn." I mumbled.
"Yeah. You can be with Tyler. Just say you asked him the day after his 18th."
"Okay. Thanks."
