"So what happened?"
"My fiancé an I got into a fight. I kinda gave him the ring back and left. I've been walking around all night."
"I can tell. Your eyes look like you haven't slept in a week."
"I don't sleep that well." I whispered.
"You're that guy from the pilots band right?" I nodded. "Your music is good."
"Thanks." My phone turned on and I saw hundreds of calls and texts and voicemails from Josh. I called him, but he didn't pick up the first time. I called him back and he picked up on the first ring.
"Tyler?" He asked. I could tell he didn't sleep or anything.
"Can you come get me?"
"Where are you?"
"I-i don't know."
Melanie held out her hand. I handed her the phone. "Hey. We're at the Walgreens at 23rd and 5th."
"That's an hour away. Okay. I'll come get him."
I took the phone. "You haven't slept. I can tell. I'll just call an uber and pay with my phone."
"Okay. It's almost time for your meds though."
"I know. I'm ordering an uber now."
