Iris walked into City Hall for the fundraiser the mayor of Central City was throwing. She wore a red dress with matching heels as she walked up to the security check by the entrance. Knowing this, she had her ID ready in her hand and she handed it to the security guard posted there.

"Hi, Iris West," she told them, "I'm with Central City Picture News." After they hand her back her ID, she give them a "Thanks" and walked towards the crowd to check out the fundraiser for herself.

Iris was instantly fascinated by the tall building structure and the large lobby that fitted so many people inside. It seemed as if she were at a fancy gala where performers would pop out of nowhere and loud music would start playing. But Iris reminded her that this isn't some exciting event for her to enjoy. She is attending this event for work. Speaking of which, Iris thought, I need to find Mayor Bellows. She hoped to get the chance to interview him for her upcoming article.

Before she took a step forward, one of the servers holding a tray of champagne glasses stopped by Iris. "Champagne, miss?"

Iris noted his gray hair and glasses—how his facial features sorta brought up something she saw earlier today. But she decided to not think about it too much. She smiled at his courtesy and replied, "Ah, thank you." She went ahead and reached for a glass then went off into the crowd.

Iris mad her way through until she found herself in the very front, right up close to the stage where she suspected the mayor would be.

She glanced around the area until she finally found the person she was looking for. "Oh, Mayor Bellows," she said as she walked up to him. "Hi. This is a lovely party."

"Thank you," the mayor said.

Before they could talk anymore, they hear a man on the overhead speakers. "Welcome, welcome, Central City's finest!"

Along with everyone in the crowd, Iris turned around to find whose up there speaking on the stage. She's surprised to see it's the waiter from before. "How about a toast? To Mayor Anthony Bellows. He doesn't just yell at his staff. . .he bellows." The waiter joked, which lead the crowd to laugh at the pun.

Iris took note that besides the waiter, there is another one—younger though—standing there, watching over the crowd. The waiter continued, "You see what I did there with the word play and the. . .?" He glanced at the other waiter, "Tough crowd."

During the moment of laughter the mayor spoke up, "Excuse me." Iris saw that the mayor made his way to the stage. He came up to the waiter at the podium and asked him, "Who are you?"

"How quickly they forget," the man said to the younger waiter, seemingly commenting on the mayor as if he had obscured vision. "James Jesse, your honor. A.K.A. ha-ha-ha," the man paused to laugh, taking off his glasses and bow tie then used his hands to ruffle up his hair, "the Trickster."
