Chapter 9

Lexies' POV

I can't believe I'm in Alabama and that I met Clay LaBrant! Also his friends are cute, especially Alex.

I love Alex's flippy light brown hair and is beautiful green eyes.

"I know a game we should play!" I said.

"What?" Amber replied.

"Hide 'n' seek!" I said while doing a superman pose.

"But..." Gabby started to say.

"We should play in the dark." Amber finished gabby's sentence.

"Since it's still light out what should we do till then?" Clay asked.

"I KNOW!" Amber screamed.

God, this girl gets excited over everything! Once I gave her a piece of chicken and I can't even explain how she reacted.

"What?" We all asked in response.

"I'm hungry so we shall order Chinese food! Then I'll be the happiest mother fucka this world has seen!"

Amber's POV

Everyone agreed to my idea. I'm so happy now. I'm with my best friends, my boyfriend, my friends might possibly hookup with Clay's friends, and I get Chinese Food.

I ran away to get the number of the restaurant.

Me and Gabby ordered sesame Chicken and noodles.

Lexie got bourbon chicken and fried rice.

Clay and Alex got Tao chicken with noodles.

Then Colton got orange chicken with fried rice.

We also got egg rolls.

It's my moms money anyways and were practically rich.

30 minutes later and an episode of Family Guy our food was here.

It's about time, I'm starving!

I got the food and gave the guy a $30 tip.

My mom says it's best to give the biggest tips you think is necessary, and he did just deliver over $100 worth of food.

"Thank You so much!" He said.

I put the food in the kitchen and grabbed 6 cokes from the fridge.

After we ate we watched more Family Guy until it was dark out.

About an hour later we were ready to play, this will be fun!

We played rock, paper, scissors to see who was it.

It was Colton.

Since I'm a master spy I can hide for hours without being seen.

I decided to have some fun and I climbed my favorite tree as high as I could go.

it would be impossible to see me, even in daylight.

It's been 10 minutes and Colton didn't find anyone.

Probably because you can't see shit out here.

Someone sneezed, turns out it was Alex.

Now he has to hit it.

Everyone returned to the porch. except for me.

My way of playing hide n seek is to never leave your spot unless you go somewhere else.

Until the entire group is looking for you and they called the cops because they thought you got kidnapped and raped.

Yeah, that didn't end very well.

It's been 20 minutes and everyone was looking for me, but no one has found me.

They all spilt up and I saw Clay looking around.

Can I trust him?

Will he play along?

I have to take my chances and if he does give me away I can run and hide somewhere else.

"Pst! Clay!" I whisper yelled.

"Over here!" he looked around trying to find me.

"I'm in the tree!" he came walking over to me.

"Come hide with me!" I said to him.

He just smiled and started climbing up the tree. I helped him up on the branch I was on.

"Ive been looking for you!" Clay said.

"No shit Sherlock!" I sassed back.

"oh sassy." He said all girly like. i couldn't help but laugh, it wasn't to loud though. I ended up snorting.

"I've been trying to find you so we could talk." he said.

I nodded my head.

For the next 30 minutes me and Clay have been whispering about random stuff.

We both almost fell off the tree many times and when someone would walk be the tree we needed to be dead silent.

Now everyone was also looking for Clay since they noticed he wasn't answering their calls for him.

"Ya know im glad you're my girlfriend." Those words struck me like Cupid with an arrow.

"And I'm glad you're my boyfriend!" I said with a big smile.

"I was scared you would say no." That's impossible.

"You were scared of me saying no?" I asked in disbelief.

"I was scared you'd never ask me out at all." I told him honestly.

"Why? Your so pretty, funny, awesome, and lovable."

"But I'm a weird ass chick that a lot of people are scared of." I giggled at the end of my sentence.

"You didn't scare me." he said.

This was a really nice moment. I never wanted it to end.

Just as I thought it was going to be over Clay started leaning in.

No, this is not even happening!

It can't be, but still he got closer and I got closer to him too.

Just before I could think of what to do his lips were on mine.

The world seemed to have stopped and focused on us.

sparks flew bigger than the forth of July as our lips moved in sync.

Now this wasn't a full on make out but a sweet gentle kiss that I didn't want to end, but sadly it did.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean it! I just really wanted to, sorry!" Clay kept apologizing.

Probably thought I'd think he was weird for doing that.

I just laughed and lightly grabbed him by his face and kissed him.

He instantly kissed back.

Could this night seriously get anymore perfect?
