"Cinderash!" Cried Pinktoe.
"What is it Pinktoe?I'm trying to brew these herbs." Replied Cinderash, barely looking around.
"Manepelt is having her kits!" Pinktoe mewed.Her skinny body was shaking.
"Oh my Starclan!" Cinderash gasped."I'll be right there,I need to grab some supplies.
Pinktoe nodded and ran out of the den.
Cinderash placed the herbs into a leaf and tied it.
She then ran out of the den.
"Shh, there Manepelt.Cinderash is coming." Pinktoe replied.
"Cinderash!Thank Starclan you are here!She's bleeding.We found her like this.She lost a lot of blood." Hazelstar rubbed her nose against Cinderash.
"Manepelt, how long have you been bleeding?" Cinderash asked.
"I don't know I-Ahhhh!The kits they are coming!" Manepelt squealed.
Cinderash quickly opened the leaf and grabbed the supplies.
"Back up, this is going to get messy very quickly." Cinderash warned them.
"Hazelstar, make sure there isn't anything sharp while she is delivering her kits."
Hazelstar nodded.
"Your doing good Manepelt."
Cinderash stuttered.She picked up herbs and placed them by Manepelt.
"Eat these.They will stop the pain."
Manepelt picked up the herbs and stuffed them in her mouth.
"Okay! A kit is coming!" Cinderash said.
Manepelt screamed in pain as the first kit was born.
"Ah, my precious kit."
Manepelt whispered.
"It's a Tom cat."
Cinderash said.
"OH STARCLAN HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE!" Manepelt warned Cinderash.
Another kit flew out.
"Only 1 more to go."
Cinderash mewed.
She picked up the kit and looked at it.
"It's a she-cat"
"Cinderash!The Tom isn't moving." Pinktoe said.
Cinderash's eyes widen.
"I was worried this was going to happen.Pinktoe, lick it." Cinderash demanded.
Pinktoe started to lick the kit.
"Last one, you're doing great—Manepelt!"
"Cinderash the kit still isn't breathing."
Cinderash shook her head.
"Hazelstar, you need to help deliver her last kit.I need to help the Tom kit." Cinderash said.
"I don't know how to deliver kits!"
Hazelstar said worried.
"Just make sure the kit is breathing.After its born give her the herbs.It shouldn't take long."
"Guys! The kit is coming!"
Hazelstar ran over to Manepelt.
Cinderash picked up the kit and ran to the den.
"Hazelstar are you sure you know what you're doing?" Pinktoe asked.
"No." Hazelstar admitted.
Manepelt finally delivered her last kit.
Hazelstar grabbed the herbs and gave them to Manepelt.
"How is my kits?" Manepelt groaned.
"The she kit is healthy." Pinktoe said.
"It's a Tom" Hazelstar said.
"Give me my kits."
Pinktoe and Hazelstar placed the kits by Manepelt.
"Cinderash how is he.?"
Manepelt asked as Cinderash made her way back to the cats.
"He's breathing.He's just very cold.
I would recommend you try to warm him up."
Manepelt nodded and pushed the tom toward her.
"Thank you—Cinderash."
Hazelstar thanked.
Cinderash nodded.
"I'm just doing my job."
She then trotted off.

"Mom! When can I become a apprentice?" The Tom asked.
"Very soon Teakit."
"But I want to become a apprentice now!" Teakit argued.
"Teakit can you be quiet? You woke me up." Oakkit snickered.
"Make me sis! I was born first!" Teakit mewed.
"We were born on the same day you stupid lump of fur!"
Oakkit scolded.
"Teakit! Oakkit! That is quite enough! If you want to be apprentices you must behave yourselves!" Manepelt exclaimed.
"Sorry mom.." Teakit frowned.
"Mommy! Can we play outside?" Asked Oakkit.
"You kits must promise to be careful! And do not eat anything you don't know what it is."
Manepelt mewed.
"We won't mommy!" Zebkit promised.
"Very well,don't wander off too far."
The three kits ran off.
"I bet you can't catch m-"
"SHHH!!" Zebkit shushed his sister.
"Listen.."
They listened carefully.
They could hear leaves crunching behind the trees.
Teakit sniffed.
"SunClan..." Teakit growled.
"What are they doing in our territory!?"
"Now, now calm down—Teakit.
"I won't calm down! It's our territory! They don't have the right to enter our territory!"
Teakit ran off.

"Hazelstar?" Teakit asked as he entered the leader's den.
"Yes, what is it, Teakit.?" Hazelstar asked.
"SunClan is in our territory."
Teakit replied.
"SunClan..? Teakit you must be mistaken.SunClan would never enter our territory.
"But I know they are! Please Hazelstar! Please believe me!" Teakit pleaded.
"Very well." Hazelstar nodded.
She left her bed and walked out.
"I smell them.." Hazelstar warned.
"Thank you for bringing this into my attention."
A howl of fear could be heard in the distance.
"Oh No! The nursery!" Hazelstar ran into the nursery as Teakit quickly followed her.
Inside the nursery was SunClan.
Cinderash was on the ground lifeless.
"JumpStar! How dare you enter our territory! Who do you think you are!?" Hazelstar growled.
"Oh no Hazelstar found us." JumpStar smiled.
Teakit pushed Hazelstar out of the way and attacked JumpStar.
Manepelt who was in the corner, ended up getting up and started to attack the deputy.
Hazelstar joined them.
Teakit ripped through JumpStar's fur.
JumpStar knocked over Teakit.
He then started to attack Teakit.
"Teakit!" Hazelstar exclaimed and rushed over to him.
Hazelstar,who was full of rage pounced on JumpStar and bit his ear.
JumpStar growled and clawed Hazelstar.
Manepelt finally killed the deputy and went to assist them with JumpStar.
Teakit bit his tail.
JumpStar jumped to his paws.
He clawed both Hazelstar and Manepelt until they fell to the floor.
Teakit who watched his mother get attacked, forced himself to jump onto JumpStar.
JumpStar finally fell to the floor.
"Mother! Hazelstar!" Teakit exclaimed.
"Can you hear me?!?"
"Yes Teakit we can hear you." Manepelt said.
Hazelstar didn't move.She laid there lifeless.
"Hazelstar!"
Teakit exclaimed and pushed himself against Hazelstar.
"Don't worry Teakit my life isn't over yet.." Hazelstar responded.
"Did you lose another life?" Manepelt asked.
"Yes, that was my fifth."
Teakit sighed.
He looked over at the dead medicine cat.
"Cinderash..You fought well.." Teakit said.
He licked the medicine cat's ear.
Hazelstar watched Teakit say his goodbyes to Cinderash.
"We need to bury her."
Hazelstar said.
"Teakit, you were very strong in this battle.I never thought a kit could kill someone like JumpStar." Hazelstar mewed.
"Thank you Hazelstar.That means a lot to me."
Teakit bowed.
"Teakit, go tell Willowheart she is the new medicine cat.She has trained hard as a apprentice of Cinderash, and she shall carry on her legacy."
Teakit rushed to the warrior's den.
"Willowheart!"
"What is it Teakit..?" Willowheart asked.
"Hazelstar told me to tell you that you are the new medicine cat."
Willowheart's eyes widen.
"She died?!" Willowheart exclaimed.
"Remember the whole SunClan thing..?"
"Oh right." Willowheart replied.
"We are going to bury her.Do you wanna come..?" Teakit asked.
"No thank you.I may as well start fixing the Medicine den."
Willowheart said.
"Suit yourself! Goodbye Willowheart!"
