"Hazelstar is sick again." BrindleWool mewed.
"Let's hope she doesn't lose her 8th life, she already lost 2 lives due to sickness." Teacup answered.
"It seems worse than it was." BrindleWool replied.
"All we could do is hope." Pinktoe said.
"Willowheart even gave up trying to help, the sickness can't go away.." Wolfheart frowned,"Hazelstar has such a bad life, she could die today for all we know, and it's sad we can't do anything about it." Teacup mewed.
"Agreed." Wolfheart answered.
"I'm going to check on Hazelstar." Teacup said, as he gently got up.
"Okay, tell us how she is." BrindleWool replied.
Teacup nodded and headed toward the den.
The cold air made him shiver, Leafbare had just ended, but some of the breeze still lingered within the air.

"Hey Hazelstar! How are you feeling?" Teacup asked.
"Hello Teacup, I'm fine." Hazelstar mewed.
"That's good." Teacup replied.
"Lucky for me I didn't loose my 8th life," she said.
Teacup sighed,"We were worried you did."
"So was I, but I know you'll be a great leader."
Teacup felt a little uncomfortable,
I hope I'm a good leader at least..

"How is she?" Pinktoe asked.
"She's fine," Teacup replied.
"And she didn't lose another life..Thankfully."
"AHHH THANK GODDDDDDDDDDDDDD"
Teacup laughed.
"What?"

Hazelstar had been sick for the past days, and within those days she lost her 8th life..
The clan knew that she would die soon, the sickness didn't have a cure and all the clan could do is hope for the best..
Hazelstar excepted her faith and journeyed through the forest for her last moments..

"Isn't the forest beautiful?" Hazelstar asked..
"Yeah." Teacup replied.
"This forest was the first thing of clan existence." Hazelstar said.
"It's surprising how long these things could live for, isn't it?" Hazelstar mewed,"Yeah it is." Teacup replied.
She's acting really strange....
Hazelstar froze and sniffed,"Dogs.."
"What are dogs doing in the forest?" Teacup asked.
"I don't know..."
They continued on.
"I don't smell them anymore." She sighed.
"Neither do I." Teacup mewed.
A strike of lightning filled the sky, cracking noise could be heard.
Both cats turned around, they watched as a tree caught on fire.
"This is my faith.." Hazelstar mewed softly.
"What do you mean by that?" Teacup asked.

Smoke filled the air as the tree collapsed on both Hazelstar and Teacup.

Both cats looked at eachother painfully.
"This is my faith...This is how I'm going to die.." Hazelstar said weakly.
Teacup was as weak as Hazelstar but managed to speak,"I'm going to miss you Hazelstar.."
Hazelstar nodded.
Teacup squeezed himself off the tree, leaving Hazelstar under it.
"Teacup I believe in you.." Hazelstar said.Before Teacup could say anything Hazelstar's eyes closed and her body went still.
Teacup lowered his head in honor of his fallen leader..
He pulled Hazelstar off the tree, as the tree continued to burn.
He placed her on his back and made his way back..

"Oh my Starclan! What happened!?" Pinktoe exclaimed.
"It's a long story.." Teacup mewed.
"She's already dead, I'm just going to bury her." Teacup said.
Pinktoe followed.
Teacup dug up a hole by Hazelstar's favorite tree.
Pinktoe carefully placed her in the hole.
"Goodbye Hazelstar.." Pinktoe mewed.
