Teastar opened his eyes.
"Daddy!" Cocoakit jumped on his chest and purred.
"Sorry about them, they really wanted to see you." Pinktoe smiled,"It's fine.." Teastar yawned and softly pushed Cocoakit off him.
Treekit nudged Cocoakit.
"Since I'm up I may as well speak to BrindleWool." Teastar mewed.
The 4 kits were running outside jumping in the puddles.
Pinktoe laughed.
"Guys! Don't get your fur to dirty!" She called out as she went to watch the kits,
Teastar stretched and walked to the warrior's den where he was.
Sidclaw was still sleeping and BrindleWool was silently sitting in the corner.
"BrindleWool., I need to speak with you."
BrindleWool slightly nodded.
He got up and slowly padded his way toward Teastar.
"Look what I said last time-" Teastar was interrupted.
"What are you going to criticize me again?" BrindleWool asked.
"No, look I had a lot on my mind, and I just said random things.The point is,well it always seemed like you had a death wish on OakMirror, and since you were from different clans I got a little suspicious." Teastar mewed.
"Teastar I promise I wouldn't do anything to your sister.Yes I might dislike her at some times but I wouldn't dare to stoop that far and try to attack her." BrindleWool answered.
Teastar nodded,"Yes I know."
BrindleWool smiled.
Jewelkit came running in and brushed herself against Teastar.
"Daddy! I found you!" Jewelkit exclaimed.
Teastar laughed.
BrindleWool looked at the kit and back up at Teastar.
"Congratulations," he mewed.
Jewelkit rolled in the damp bed of leaves.
"Thanks." Teastar answered.
"Jewelkit you're going to ruin your fur." He said.
"Oops, sorry!" She mewed and shook off her fur.
"Why don't you play with your sisters?" He asked.
"Mommy took them to meet the cats, I woke up early so I already saw them." She mewed.
"Well what do you want to do?" Teastar asked.
"I wanna go see the forest! Mommy said it's dangerous." She pouted.
"It is dangerous, but I suppose.BrindleWool would you like to take her to see the forest?" Teastar turned to look at the deputy.
"I'd love to." He answered.
"Yay!" Jewelkit purred, and rubbed herself against BrindleWool.
The two cats headed off.
Teastar went to see where Pinktoe went.
Candypaw and Bloompaw were in their den rolling a patch of moss back and forth.
Treekit was playing with them.
"Oh, Teastar!" Candypaw mewed.
"Hey." He said, he repositioned his paws on the stone ground of the den.
"Your kits are adorable." Candypaw mewed.
"Thank you." Teastar thanked.
Treekit pawed at the ball and it rolled toward Teastar.
Teastar rolled the ball back, apparently amusing the kit.
Pinktoe walked in.
"Seems like he got you playing too." She giggled.
