Chapter 35: Why Hello There

Jokers P.o.v.

The house was completely silent, so quiet that if you were to drop a pin you would hear it perfectly. For a brief moment I questioned if I were still alive however the intense thumping of the back of my head assured me I was indeed still alive. Using all my might I rolled over onto my back and stared at the ceiling, he'd taken her again that was for sure. "Im getting sick of playing fucking hide and seek" I grumbled angrily to myself as I sat up placing my head in my hands.

Peaking through my hands I saw the river of semi dried blood that had cascaded down the staircase. Slowly rising to my feet with the assistance of the table I lifted myself from the floor and staggered towards the telephone mounted on the wall. Dialling the number printed under the silver 'emergencies only' sign I waited for a voice. "Hello?" the voice answered, deep and grumbly "I need to call in a favor" I replied wasting no time. "You sound like shit" the voice chuckled and agreed to help "what do you need?". "I have someone, I want dead. They've taken someone from me".

I spent the next few hours calling together my followers making sure this time we would be prepared for anything this prick had in store for us. My mind was in overdrive boiling with anger fuled with a flame so bright if it was visible it would be blinding. I wanted him dead once and for all I didn't care if I finally got caught and was locked away again, I just want him away from ______. Speeding down the streets in my purple Lamborghini I had one thing and one thing only on my mind. 

Murder.

I knew exactly where she was, Crow made it no secret. He thought he was safe because he was in a popular place surrounded by other houses, what he forgot however is that im no longer sane and honestly no longer care about anyone else. This was personal. My phone began buzzing once more and I immediately answered not looking at the ID on the phones screen. "I see your going to be dropping by?" it was him. "yes I am and im fucking sick of these games" I spat back at him irritatedly. "well this wouldn't happen if you stopped stealing my things no would it?" The crow teased. I laughed showing my disgust and annoyance "You, You... You are a pain in the ass".

The phone hung up and my foot hit the floor sending me flying down the street narrowly avoiding collisions with neighbouring cars. Street lights became a blur and the sound of horns as I drove past became almost rhythmic, like my own personal song preparing myself for the final kill. Pulling down the street I dimmed my lights and slowed my pace, I parked the car under the tree at the entrance of the driveway and with hesitation stormed through the gates and towards the front door.

 40 of my men had already arrived and surrounded the perimeter and my special guest was awaiting me inside the house already. Slamming the front doors open I was faced with a shaky man wearing chemical resistant clothing "this man says they aren't home, boss". I scoffed knowing full well he was just trying to cover his bosses ass. I didn't have any patience anymore. I took one of the guns next to the man on the entryway table and jammed it into his neck pulling the trigger sending a shock through the man. "Now listen to me carefully, I know they're here. Tell me which room and the direction".

The familiar chuckle was made aware of again and the figure belonging to the voice chimed in once more. "The man is of no use, I already know where he is hiding" always so enthusiastic and ahead of everyone he pointed to the staircase. "Shall i?" he taunted, I pushed the man into the wall and turned back to my friend. "Go get her and bring her to me, ill be waiting in the car so I can take her as far away from here as I fucking can". A smile played on the mans lips and he began stoping up the staircase as I made sure _______'s pathway to the car would be as clear as possible.

Mystery Persons P.o.v.

I reached the room and held my gun at the ready, I didn't have any time for chit chat, I had a favor I needed to forfill and so help me that was what I was going to do. I kicked the door off its hinges, the white wood landing flat on the ground at my tough.  A fading smile that only seconds ago must have been plastered on the Crows face was now gone and replaced with fear. ________ was hiding in the back corner of the room, her skin pale, bandages covering her body from her waist to the tops of her shoulders and her hair a mess. The Crow opened his mouth and began to speak as if he could delay my pulling of the trigger "My my, Joker isn't playing fair now bringing you here now is he. Why don't you put the gun down-". I pulled back the trigger multiple times leaving holes throughout the Crows body. 

His body now laid lifeless on the floor and I threw the now empty gun across to the other side of the room. I slowly made my way over ______ and stood above her taking in her features, I could see why Joker would like her. Trying my best not to scare the girl I crossed my arms and smiled, not that you could really tell and spoke "Why hello there!". All she could do was blink and stare which was my indication that id tried to hard "what?" she stated confused.

"My name is Bane, im here to help you".
