"No way." I say.

"Ready." Anthony grabs my foot and Neil pushes me up.

"Fuck, I said don't." I say, grabbing the set, behind me. They thought it would be fun to lift me up like they did in the show. Actually, I have been lifted up before. I tried cheerleading and I was okay but the teams outside of the school that competed cost money and all so I only had the schools training. When I was little, I loved it. I can still do few skills and was left with flexibility and even some dance, but I don't enjoy it anymore.

"You're so light." Anthony catches me in a cradle.

"Hey, just because you can throw me around, doesn't mean you know how to."

"I know a little about it." Andy says, running over on stage.

"Lin will kill us if she gets hurt." Neil says.

"We can't drop her. She's too light for that."

"From my experience, you can be dropped no matter what."

"I thought you were more responsible than this, Andy."

"I miss this stuff from Bring it in." Anthony grabs my foot and pulls me back up. Again, HE'S UNTRAINED! But I'm also really underweight and Neil was in the musical. Andy grabs my foot and pushes it against my knee in what I remember as a lib.

"Ready?"

"For what?" He grabs my other foot.

"Switch legs on the count of three. One, two, three." I switch and fall down into their arms. He tosses me back up. Am I just a doll or something? Then he cradles me, again. That was not safe!

"Know any songs from Bring it on?"

"Lin sings them sometimes."

"Show me what you've got." I smile, knowing the rap.

"I don't know what these other
brothers are thinkin
they must 'a been drinkin
get it and let it sink in!
what are y'all scared?
y'all think cheerin is feminine?
then im a feminist swimmin' in
women gentleman! consider it its a little different isnt it
your thinking is limited give it a
minute envision it
dead in the middle of seventy
women on television
every little bit of precision is
magnificent!" I say pretty quickly.

"Come on let's goooo!" Neil sings.

"Don't say noooooo!" I join him.

"God, I love this kid." Andy says before picking me back up.
-
"What the hell are you doing with my child?" Lin says, walking into the stage. Ariana and Gregory have now joined us, making it less likely that I will get my head smashed open.

"She's part of the Bring it on family as well, now."

"What do you mean?" Leslie runs over, his phone out. He'd been watching for a while now.

"Ready, kid?" Ariana asks.

"I doubt it. But okay." She smiles and outs her hands out before they toss me back up again. Lin looks scared but smiles. I hold the set behind me until Any says let go. I switch my legs and actually stay up and then go into an arabesque before they throw me and I twist once, landing in their arms. They set me out and throw me back up again. I don't stay but andy pushes me back up. I do a high-V and then come back down adjusting my sleeve before doing a front walkover with Ariana.

"Wait." She says. We run back. It was made in ten minutes. What do you expect? Perfect transitions.

"imagine the lights!
imagine the people!
imagine us in the middle
of the crowd!
imagine the fame imagine the
fortune!
its all happening!"

We all sing. Andy grabs me again but I don't know what we're doing. He tuns me in a cradle and puts me back on my feet.

"Ta da." Anthony says, from the side.

"Wait." Andy says as they out me back up.

"I don't know what's happening anymore."

"Just sing!"

"imagine your life and all
of the changes!
imagine making your
neighborhood proud!"

"and they're screaming our
names our loud!" Ariana sings from the ground. They sweep my feet forwards from under me into a cradle and Andy flips me over his arm to my feet.

"Aaannndd." He says.

"its all happening!" We sing. Lin claps and then runs and lifts me up.

"I have to keep you away from these dangerous people." He jokes before kissing my head and putting me down. "Good job. Remember, though. She's small but frail. Be careful."

"Don't worry." Anthony says. "It's just that you're an over overprotective dad." Lin laughs and we leave the stage so they can get ready for the show.
