"Life being what it is, one dreams of revenge." ~Paul Gauguin

Victoria's POV

I walked down the familiar passages of the palace, getting myself ready to get back into routine, back to my family's revenge.

However, my mind was not at ease with the thought that my sister was a fully shifted snake, and was more than capable of protecting herself completely and connecting with herself completely.

A smile appeared on my face as I thought so, but soon disappeared as soon as my eyes met the scene on the other side of Mia's door.

What I walked into was the sight of Mia and who I assumed was her girlfriend Fiona, making out on Mia's bed.

"Jesus Christ Mia!" I exclaimed, turning my head towards the door to hide from the view.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry" she soon responded, the sound of shuffling was then heard, a clear indication that they had parted from their moment of...intimacy. I turned back around slowly, relieved to see the both of them standing straight with their eyes on me.

"I take it you are Fiona?" I questioned, to which she nodded quickly, putting her hand forward for me to shake.

"Yeah, nice to meet you Freya, Mia has told me a lot about you, and can I just say, thank you so much for supporting her on this. Must be hard for a Royal to go through so much pressure, so she definitely needed someone other than me to share this with" I smiled at her as I shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you too, and don't worry about it. Mia is my friend as well as my student, and I will help her get through this, and you too. Take a seat" I greeted, guiding the both of them towards tutoring area. "So Fiona, Mia tells me you have an interest in literature" I stated, facing the petite girl, taking in her features.

She had dark blond hair that contrasted well with her light blue eyes and small figure.

"Oh absolutely. In fact, my mother was an English literature teacher before she died. I guess she passed that passion down to me when she left" my smile dropped slightly at her words, although I tried my best not to show pity on my face, I could tell by experience that pity was the last thing anyone that had experienced loss wanted to receive.

"I'm sorry to hear that, who inspired her?"

"Wilfred Owen, surprisingly" she answered, fiddling with the hem of her sweatshirt, her eyes facing her lap.

"Well it doesn't surprise me, he was a great poet" I replied, smiling back at her before proceeding with the lesson. "Anyways, I thoughts since you're here we might as well work on some English literature, I would love to hear your thoughts on Shakespeare and his plays" at this, they smiled, causing me to pick up the appropriate books to begin with the lesson. "You are covering the same play in class though right?" I questioned briefly to assure myself, to which they both nodded. "Perfect" with that, I opened up the book, looking for a good passage in the book that was worth analyzing in an essay.

My eyes fell across a lovely passage, making me smile and face the girls.

"Alright, open your books to any scene with the low life characters and pick a passage" I offered, watching them as they both skimmed through the play together quickly to come up with a passage. Once they chose it, I decided it was time to test their knowledge.

"Alright, now talk to me about the importance of theses low life characters throughout the play, and once we're done discussing, you can write an essay on it"

*****

"Frey, do you mind if we go downstairs to get a snack? We've been here for ages!" Mia asked, making me glance at the clock to realise it was time for my lunch break.
