"Truth is a battle of perceptions. People only see what they're prepared to confront. It's not what you look at that matters, but what you see. And when then different perceptions battle against one another, the truth has a way of getting lost. And the monsters find a way of getting out." ~ Emily Thorne

Victoria's POV

"What's the plan Victoria? How do we lure the King's into the trap?" Sonia questioned, pacing the messed up living room.

For a minute, I remained silent, quiet and absolutely helpless.

What was happening to me? Why couldn't I think? Did the entire Kings' family know about our secret?

"Sonia, I need you to access the security tapes of the Palace and find out if Christian told his parents about us" I quickly snapped back, deciding to get my shit together.

This was not how it was going to go down.

We were so close to finishing what we had started, and now we wouldn't back down. Gathering every bit of hope inside me, I began picking up all the bits and pieces around the living room, placing them neatly on the table whilst coming up with a decent plan.

"Alright, by the looks of it, Mia is the only one that knows. He hasn't approached his parents at any point so there's no way they know" Sonia concluded, taking her eyes off the screen ahead of her to meet mine.

"Not necessarily, he could have just told them through their mind link" I mumbled, mostly to myself.

"Vic, don't you think that if he would have they would have talked about it in person?"

"Not if they know we're watching them. You heard Christian Sonia, they're coming after us as much as we're going after them. The war begins here" I stated, placing my hand on my forehead tentatively, trying to come up with something.

"That may be alright, but we still have the upper hand Victoria. We can take the shape and size of anyone we want to" she hinted, confusing me slightly. After realising that I wasn't catching on to what she was saying, she continued "Whose the one person in the Royal family that we haven't managed to kill yet?" she questioned.

"Well, we didn't exactly get to kill Mark and Elle Holland so-"

"Vic, I'm not talking about them, I'm talking about someone else." She interrupted, causing a light bulb to switch on in my mind as my eyes widened.

"Of course, James. But wait, how do we use him to our advantage?" I asked, confused as ever.

"Well, one of us takes James' form and we stride into the Palace, then we simply lure them out" she concluded as if it were the most simplest thing in the world.

"Son, it's not that simple. What makes you think we can lure every member of the family out to our trap?" I questioned, slumping down on the chair and burying my head into my hands.

What can I do? What can I do? WHAT CAN I DO? I chanted repeatedly in my head, ideas flowing in and out of my brain.

That's when it clicked.

"Sonia, if I got hurt really badly, and I was bleeding to death-"

"What the fuck Victoria? It isn't-"

"Sonia! Shut up for just a second and just hear me out!" I cut off my sister, watching her zip her mouth shut before I continued with my plan "Say if I was hurt really badly, would Christian, being my mate, feel any of the pain?" I asked, watching my sister frown at my question, clearly she was confused.
