Chapter 20

Ian's POV

I was woken up by a little bit of sunshine coming through the window; I had a headache but it wasn't that bad I don't get really bad hangovers. I looked over to the clock and saw that it was 6:00 I have been asleep for about 3 maybe 4 hours.

I felt something strange holding onto my waist I didn't notice it before, I looked over and saw that Alex was holding my waist with her head lightly laid on my chest. She was so cute when she was asleep.

I felt her let go of me and she turned around so that her back was now facing me.

I groaned.

"Umm... why did you move I was comfortable?" I asked throwing my arms around her.

"Get off me you tub of lard, and let me sleep," she said shrugging my arms off of her.

"Ahh, don't be mean come on lets cuddle," I smiled.

She flipped over so that her body was facing me now. I looked her straight in the eyes; her amber eyes mesmerizing mine, I smirked at her.

"Hey sunshine," I said smiling.

"You are a pain in the ass you know that right?" she said shoving my chest lightly.

"Yep," I said popping the 'p', " but you love me."

"No, I really don't love you sorry," she said bluntly.

"You're mean," I started to pout and wipe fake tears from my eyes.

"Thank you," she smiled at me.

"My head hurts," I said dragging out my words like a child.

"And I care why?"

"I need hugs and kisses to make me feel better please," I said engulfing her in a bear hug.

We wrestled on the floor for a while she was surprisingly strong for a girl. I ended up pinning her to the floor.

"Get off of me," she whined while she squirmed around.

"The more you struggle the harder my grip will get," I said pinned her to the floor a littler harder.

"You sound like a pedophile," she said glaring at me.

I smiled at her tightening my grip.

"Fine I give up she said sticking her tongue at me.

"Now that wasn't so hard, was it?" I asked smirking.

I got off of her and turned around so that I could cuddle with her

"I hate you," she said.

"No you don't," I said and then I started to drift of to sleep again.

But before I fell asleep I heard her say something.

"Your right... I don't hate you."

I smiled as I drifted back into dreamland.

Alex POV

I heard Ian snore; Jeez this douche fell asleep.

I untangled my myself from him so that I could get a glass of water and some aspirin.

Once I finished my drink I turned around to see Ian standing behind me.

"Ah!! You scared me, you ass," I said.

"Why did you leave?" he said in a low tone.

"Sorry I just wanted to get a glass of water," I said pointing to the glass I left on the counter.

"Still why couldn't just stay with me?" he said walking closer to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked backing up to the counter.

"I just want to be closer to you baby," he said pinning me between him and the counter.

"Are you still DRUNK!! Get the HELL OFF OF ME!!" I said him doing this to me just brings back to many memories.

I shoved him but he didn't budge then the second time a shoved him he almost fell to the floor. I stormed away from him and went outside.

I had this huge tree in my backyard that I loved to sit in; I ran to my tree and climbed it fast and sat on a thick branch.

*Flashback*

"You've been a very naughty girl," my uncle said.

"I didn't do anything please let me go!!" I cried out.

He walked towards me pinning me against a wall and banging against the wall.

"YOU HAVE A CURFEW!! YOU COME HOME WHEN YOUR SUPPOSED TO!!" his voice boomed through the house.

"Im SORRY!! Please don't hurt me," I couldn't stop the tears they came flowing down.

"Don't let it happen again," he said in a low whisper before he walked away.

*Flashback End*

I shuttered at my memory; It wasn't that cold out except for the little breeze that was blowing.

"Alex," I heard someone say.

"Go away Beanstalk," I said.

"Nope try again."

I turned my head.

"Jacob," I said.

"Bingo," he said jumping up to sit in the tree with me.

"Why you out here?" he asked.

"Because it's my thinking place and I needed to think," I shrugged.

"It's a nice place to think, but I heard you guys in the kitchen," he said looking me in the eyes.

"How bad is your hangover right now?" I said smiling trying to change the subject.

"I feel like I'm gonna die, and don't change the subject."

"What if I don't want to tell you."

"I'll tell you a secret that only two people know about me, if you tell me what happened this morning," he said.

"Ok you tell me first," I said crossing my arms.

"I am a extremely lightweight when it comes to drinking," he said pretending that it was a huge secret.

"I already knew that," I laughed and shoved his shoulder and he fell out of the tree.

"Ahh!!" he yelled.

"Ohh!! I'm sorry!! Are you okay?" I asked looking down.

"Yeah...grrr... I'm fine," he said rolling onto his side.

"Im sorry."

"Everyone is up by the way let's go inside," he said walking up to the tree.

"Kk."

He grabbed my hand and then my waist to help me down and then we went inside.
